    Disney uses player moderators for many of their gaming properties. They have enough corporate lawyers to fill Rovio's offices many times over; if it was a problem to use player moderators, they wouldn't do it. It can be done. They even have moderators to manage the moderators. It's endless how it can be managed.

    Moderate the moderators with more moderators? Then who moderates the moderators that moderate the other moderators...

    Ok but on a serious note... Disney games don't make people rage. Couldn't you imagine volunteer moderators to rage ban once in a while. I think if they were to hire moderators they would have to be known and trusted by both the devs and the community and very active. But I would like to see some extra banning for players who really do deserve it :)

    We have had community moderators in our plans pretty much always but the time just haven't been ready for that yet. Our moderation tools have been, let's say rough around the edges, and we have been improving them along the way to make it more possible to give access to people outside of our team.

    You really have no idea. Lol. Star Wars Commander players, but just one of so many examples, could rage with the best of them. Their profanity and personal attacks would make you blush. Star Wars people can go nutz.
