Battle Formats

    Here are some formats which can be taken into account when you touch the battle button :

    (1) Balanced 5v5:
    Here the teams have one ship of each type, i.e. a fixer, a defender, a speeder, an enforcer and a shooter. Both sides have equal mk levels or same mk levels of the same ship type on either side.
    After all that, near infamy range is considered.
    This is for an equalizing gameplay as far as possible.

    (2) Weapons mode:
    Here all the ships use same weapon type, such as cannons for cannons and this goes up in 6 categories:
    •Cannons
    •Torpedoes
    •Fire Items (includes grenade)
    •Mortars
    •Missiles
    •Railguns
    The last two being strictly class restricted to one weapon, i.e. missiles and rails. Mines though may be included in all or may not.
    This is for players who dont have much of other weapons other than one type or prefer to focus on one type of red gear. Torpedo matches would be sweet btw and only rails/missiles would be cool :)

    (3) Training/Practice mode:
    Here players can go solo and train themselves on various assets, targets and obstacles. Speeders can also have ramps to fly over and fixers healing moving targets who lose health over time.
    Some training obstacles for accuracy can be taken from existing maps, such as a hitmark from Destruct 9 like the one below:

    Training can be 1v1 (AI simulated with different difficulty levels), 1v2-5 (whole team), or up against oncoming hordes of enemies. ~ Zombie style ~
    Also, achievements can be added for training marks setup.

    (4) Ship Class mode:
    This is a class/ship type restricted event where the brawl is between speeders only or between shooters only and..yup you get the hang of it. Here the players fight to be the best among their ship class. (Seperate Leaderboard can be there) Can be done in various ways, from same mk level on either side, or up 4 being one mk level and one being an mk level above (like the boss of the team) on both sides. Like 4 mk4 shooters, one mk5 shooter on one team, and equally on the other side. Or it can be mixed mk levels but difference should not be more than 3 between them and as said, teams equalized. This would be good for ones focusing on only one ship, thriving to be the best with that only.

    (5) Guild wars:
    An already thought of concept and a hot topic among all as it creates excitement even when we find ourselves with/against our guildmates in normal matches itself.
    Clubbing together in the name of the guild with a selected team of 5 (preferably by the leader) against another guild's squad would be just perfect to have some fun and settle scores.
    This would also uplift the use of guilds in the game.

    Also formats can be mixed too like a 5v5 guild torpedo war of speeders. Would be amazing :)

    Just came up with this as thought the game can do with a few more options to play in various ways. This can be either taken by different 5v5 formats or going solo or training, and i believe this would be not bad at the least as we can try something new or whichever format is suited to the player :)

    How long would be the estimated waiting time for one, let's say Ship Class Battle with only Speeders?

    As a base at your infamy, you are among the top 5 thousand, maybe 10 to 20 thousand, maybe a little more 50,000 players in range.
    How many of these players have a corresponding ship and at what level?
    I consider the global time difference (nighttime in Asia) and pull off those who are offline or do not feel like.
    There will only be some handfuls of possible players to find and you need 10 - in this moment!
    It will not work.

    And for Weapon Mode
    Would it be fun with an MK3 shooter and a set of medium evolved torpedoes, no matter what kind, go into a fight with my MK5 Speeder with 2 set TriTorp RareT5, EpicT3 and Frostblaster?
    It would be a slaughter - to my pleasure

    Nice idea as I said, but in practice with huge problems in the implementation.

    Your right, but these modes will be available in a seperate manner, apart from the usual battle so if somebody has to wait on one mode, they can always play the good old fashion style.
    These modes are basically based to play a lil bit balanced with all complaints of some classes being overpowered, specific weapons being overpowered and so if all use the same type it might help them a bit maybe. But yes true unless the player base is really huge and active almost all the time, its definitely hard to implement such modes (1,2 and 4) and it would be better to play normally.
    But practice mode which can be renamed to something like training grounds wouldnt require another player, just the AI so that might work i guess. Also the guild wars thing as its a selective of 5 from a guild which can be pre decided and not have to wait when they are online (decided among the guild).

    No it wouldnt for the weapons mode, i agree. But players who play that would rather prefer speeder with torps (mostly).
    And as i said these formats are sidewise options apart from the original infamy based game, so all can just play normally if they dont prefer to play or have to wait.
    For the players who want to play in a different way or can wait, (we can msg friends, 10 of em who agree to play a particular mode so the thing works) for them it be good :)

    For this Idea to take effect we need more players which is why we need to advertise it. If we share this game on other communities like Twitch , 9gag etc. Pretty sure the game players Will increase. This game is gorgeous just lack some advertisements

    Hahahaha like legit the game is so gorgeous but lacks some presence in other communities. They should share this game on the gaming community not just in social media sites. And they also need to hire some popular gamers like kweb, gaming lemon or pewds to advertise for them.

    True, one of the most addicting mobile games ever due to its unique concept and gameplay. Also the visuals are quite stunning in a rovio style.
    Agreed, i introduced some of my mates into the game like we spread the word to plant a tree each during environment day, and if everybody helps with just another friend joining in, we'll have double the total players total (and i'll be more than happy to thrash em all newbies) soon :)
    I suppose there are some discord servers growing on the game's way, but thats just some guilds using them and yes external recognition from gaming media would always be wonderful, been envisaging it to be an esports game one day.

    I want Deathmatch mode and Team Deathmatch mode!
    • Deathmatch
      • Every player for himself. Respawn after death (10 seconds of waiting). Winner is who will score more points for end of time. The reward depends on position at end of match.
    • Team Deathmatch
      • You play in team 5 vs 5, but respawn after death (10 seconds of waiting). Who is first to score 50 points (1kill = 1point) won or who score more points for end of time.

    But as most damage dealer and 2 kills, Great! :cool:
    Well done pentakill.
    I remember it was a balanced battle of the better kind.
    At first it looked as if we would win, as three speeder have smoked half of your team.
    But in the end, firepower and your teamwork triumphed over agility and speed!

    It would make this game, so much based on teamplay, to an ordinary game of the cheaper variety.
    Like all this - run, shoot, die and run again - games out there!

    Not bad, but this would be very much degrade the skill and survival factor as spawning again wouldnt make much sense for a hard earned kill and if there are big heavy legendary items users on the battlefield it'll be of little use trying hard to kill them only to be respawned again. They would be the winners and it would make the system more unbalanced if you think of it that way.
    Also yes this is as in most fps games such as tanki online etc, an it would be better with the game staying unique and maintaining its originality as cyber said.

    This is only a general concept. Balance of this mod should be well thought out.
    For example, the dependence of respawn time on HP or amount of damage dealed:
    • Ships with 3000 HP - 10 sec respawn time; Ship with 9000 HP - 20 sec respawn.
    • Ship deal 1000 damage during his life - respawn 10 sec; Ship deal 8000 damage - respawn 18 seconds.
    All values are for illustration only!

    I think before its advertised some updates need to be made, its still a new game, and a lot of newcomers quit due to the unbalanced matchmaking and lack of variety in some things.

    Great ideas Blood Raven, would definitely like to see a training mode where its untimed and you can just shoot around practicing!
    Otherwise the wait times would be crazy haha. Miika already said refining the matchmaking just a bit made wait times up to an hour i think.

    Also think guild wars, where guilds with similar standing go up against each other (ie we fight frostblade ;))
    And seasonal events where you go head to head with the players in your season league

    Yup the training part is the only one possible now i guess due to wait times as you guys said.
    Damn one hour seems a lot..i personally never waited more than 30 seconds for a battle dunno maybe higher infamies have to wait if there arent similar matches.
    Sure, would be lovely to go against guilds, we'll be sure to put up a tough fight :)
    (Not going easy on fleet ally :p)
    That would be awesome..am always looking forward to fight 1v1 against the top speeders and strikers in my infamy range and above. Though 1v1 with striker would be a lil slow, we have to find the enemy and in large maps might never meet lol but speeders would be fun..better like 2v2 gainst the top ones..would be lovely with such duals.
