Upgrading phone, is it a smooth transition?

    Currently running on iPhone 6; taking advantage of the upgrade timing for those wanting an 8 to upgrade to a 7 Plus tomorrow.

    I don't mind spending $20-40/week on this game, but I flatly refuse to add my personal activities and/or games to my Facebook account (which I hate and barely use anyway). But I've upgraded in the past and Game Center luckily recognized my accounts and pre-loaded my saved games *most* of the time (Clash of Clans, Star Wars Commander), and failed for others (Temple Run 2)...I'd hate to throw away a game I've blown a couple hundred on but I'm not starting over. Just wondering if anyone else has had a smooth transition?

    (Yes, I'll obviously back up my iTunes account, but as I've pointed out, games can be rather finicky).

    For security I would copy the account id under option -> account. So the support can restore the account.
