1st Rename Free, Not Free Anymore?

    I have come across a couple users who wished to rename themselves, and had never done so before. Being as the text still reads, "First time is free!" they tried to do so, and it wouldn't let them without 1000 pearls.

    Uncertain if first renames are not free anymore, or if this is a new bug. Anyone else experiencing this? And any news on a possible patch or explanation would be much appreciated.

    It's should be still free. Just tested also on my account that it would allow me to change it for free since I haven't changed it in the past.

    Yeah, tried it with a third person, and theirs is still free as well. Seems to be hit and miss?
    I mean, these are adults that are telling me they haven't changed their name before, and that it says 1000 pearls to change it.. they aren't the type to lie. Really unsure of how to remedy this. :(
