    Is it worth it to buy a rare from the shop so if I get a dupe I can evolve it? A few days ago I pulled a rare railgun from a chest but I can't really do anything with it because tier 1 rares would not work at my infamy, I really wished I bought one in the shop beforehand :(

    This is the hard thing about the shop. If you know what you want, then you should go ahead and buy that thing asap because "that" might happen. At this point, you will have to wait until you find another one. I think buying it from the shop is only a little but better than looking for yet another one, but I could be wrong as I have never tried it myself

    I think it is totally worth it, have done it and have zero regrets. But I am a fixer, so I knew some green itema were essential for me. If you feel the same about any in game item, I'd do it

    Imo it's never worth to buy rares from the shop. Rare pieces, especially red, are pretty common, and I'm consistently getting 2 full sets of rare reds in a week (could possibly pull more, but I never buy rare pieces from the shop unless I'm 1 or 2 away from full set). On top of that, you get 2 guaranteed rares from quest boxes, not to mention the decent chance from star boxes.

    That 750k can be spent a lot better on parts, epic pieces, perks, etc.
