Great "Realtime" "Multiplayer" Game

You guys just made history.
- No waiting time for matchmaking
- No lag during gameplay
- Every game everybody except for myself has the name format of AdjectiveAnimal123
- I deal 95% of the damage from our team or we lose horribly

You are probably still playing in tutorial. Play a bit longer and gain sime infamy as well as captain levels and you will start to face some real players eventually. Please don't judge a game by short play time.

 

Exactly how many games did you play then? 5? If you just keep playing little longer - let's say until you reach something like 500-1000 infamy - you will enter into much more competitive battles.

 

I definitely played more than 5 matches and I'm already way past the tutorials. The issue is the game advertises itself as realtime multiplayer and there isn't any sign saying I'm in a training ground or not (check how Clash Royale does that). So this is false advertising.

 

If you have played more than 5 matches it won't say you are out of tutorial. You need to be lv 5 as a captain and over 500 infamy to play in real time games as pvp. If you still fill these requirments, then you are just playing with people who doesn't yet know how to play well. There is no bots or anything else besides real players after those 2 requirments. Therefore no false advertising.

I really don't buy that. People with the generic name are simply too consistent. They always miss, they always do badly, they're never upgraded, they always die first, they never talk, they never gain or lose infamy, there's always the same number of them on each team. Then they just magically disappear once you gain enough infamy. Every single person I've seen that had a real name was leagues better than every bot I've seen. That doesn't make any sense. I thought the exact same thing (until some one pointed it out to me). However you're playing with bots. The way you tell if you're playing with real time players is they will lose or gain points after a battle. If they do not acquire any points or lose any they are bots. This is just so you can get a feel for the game.

 

I think is just you... Need to train your crew and start developing your weapons. Also this will help you improve your skils, and you will see in almost no-time you will be having lots of fun with this game. Also, prepare to lose a lot, as you regulary will be paired up against more powerfull opponents as you grow stronger little by little.

 

There are bots in the game. You're correct.

Bots are in the game for 2 reasons.

1). To help players who first start to get a feel for the game.

2). Simply there aren't enough people online. When they is a shortage of people you will have bots on your team.

In addition, the way you tell if they are bots is through the "Points" after the game the players who remain on 0 and do not gain or lose points are bots.

 

Lots of people had the same issue...there should be a clear distinction between human players and bots

 

I know I did the other day lol. But I agree I think a "B" at the start of the name would help clear it up.

 

The problem is that the devs have stated that there's no bots past tutorial, which not many people believe. I don't know and I don't care anymore, because after my first day of playing I was in matches without animal-number names. So basically OP should just grind out a few games and not worry about bots anymore.

 

But yeah you're right in a sense but even so you still can play with bots as there might be a lack of players online. I think anyway.

 

. Wait.... I re read and you're right lol. They did say you get past a certain point and you never see them again.
