Fire is fire

    I believe that fire,mines, etc anything should injure either team. Mines cannot be distinguished between friendly and unfriendly. Fire is a mystery because it'll burn you anyway it goes. I also noticed particularly on the foundry map, people within mid to close range disappearing and reappearing are not behind waves but just in plain site. Also I'm seeing incoming shots but not seeing where it's coming from. Even if your weapon does not surpass the range of the opponent, your vision should still be able to see the same distance even if your weapon does not shoot that far. I don't know if it's just me but I think the game got worse after the update.

    I guess that's too realistic for you. Friendly fire should be used in hardcore mode.

    The game isn't really about being realistic bud. Do people normally play 5v5 naval battles with weird weapons and crazy boats? With infinite ammunition and fuel?

    Lol, if u want realistic, this isnt the game for you. So instead of bitching about this game go play something like cold waters.

    And if you can't handle the updates, go play PAC man. It hasn't been updated in years! It's also hyper-realistic....

    agreed on the vision problem. being shot at or sniped without seeing the enemy. very difficult for scout ships.

    now imagine if you could trigger your own mine. just run into unfriendlies, drop mines and suicide with them. not a good idea.

    napalm however should damage everyone regardless. as you said, fire is fire.

    Napalm is unused as it is. Those that do like it are fond of its zoning capabilities. If it could damage both teams then it would zone you as well which is horrible. Not only would it be unusable as a good weapon, trolls/griefers would take advantage of it to kill their own team and trap them in an area to be killed by the unfriends while damaging them with the napalm. Your team would have no escape and couldn't fight back unless THEY had napalm too. At that point it just turns into an FFA (Free For All).
    If they did implement this, napalm would need a MAJOR damage buff to make it usable, but then it would deal that MAJOR damage to yourself, your team, and trolls/griefers would easily kill you with no way to combat them. In conclusion, ITS A TERRIBLE IDEA!!!

    Napalm isn't for direct damage, it's used to apply fire to unfriendlys and to block off pathways. And I hate it :p but it's just fine where it's at

    Exactly. And if the enemy chooses not to split off they pay the price :)
