How do we get a legendary item?

 

Combination of legendary pieces. Pieces can be obtain from scrapping, free chest and premium chest. Ace league top 3 to 10 rewards and nightmare league end of season rewards.

 

Spending those greenies

 

theoretically, you can wait to get legendary item pieces for free on star boxes and free crates but it might take a while .. maybe 5 or 10 years of waiting to get "lucky". the fastest alternative is buying the epic container at the shop (the one that costs 3900 pearls). it gives you one legendary piece per purchase and you need 10 legendary pieces of the same color to fuse it into a legendary item. from what i gather, spending 500 usd on pearls will get you one for sure. if you are unlucky at getting the item piece drops to be of the same kind always, another one or two hundred bucks would do the trick.

im hoping to see a post here in the forum of a pure f2p player getting a legendary item .... in less than five years hopefully.

 

I got 7 legendary pieces already. I have just bought 1 epic container wich only gave me 1 legendary green piece. I got 2 pieces from scrapping common items (i scrapped like over 500 of them) I got 4 legendary pieces from star crates.
The only thing I have is premium subscription wich I openly admit. But I have almost done 4k battles, so that means I have scrapped ALOT, opened ALOT of star crates, and got ALOT of pearls just by battling.

So that's how I got my legendary pieces if it counts

 

And I have just played for a month and a half, so I'm pretty positive I'll have a legendary weapon way before 5 years.

interesting. how long have you been playing? we almost have the same amount of legendary pieces and i spent around 250 bucks so far. ive been playing for about a month now.

Lol your estimation seems pessimistic , I'm more than 7 months into this game, pure F2P, only managed to get 2 red and 1 yellow legendary piece.
Still in Ace 1 league, not able to stay in top 10 for another piece this season.
So based on my estimation, it is gonna take around 1 year for me to reach nightmare league.
Just staying in nightmare league for the remaining of the seasons I will get another piece every 2 weeks.
If I'm lucky, around 15th season I might be able to get my 1st legendary.
Maybe 2 years is a more reasonable estimation.

 

yep i think you have a better grasp at that estimation. , sometimes i become "hyperbolic".

 

@RESQMI Is closer to my experience.
6 legendary pieces so far (divided 2, 2, 2 sadly) - 3 of those from 3900purchases, so 3 f2p ones.

And two Ace one finishes as #11 & 12

 

What sort of infamy do you need to get in top 10 @ Ace 1?

(Assuming its only ace1 that gives legend pieces)

 

Nightmare is 1 guaranteed legendary item pr season.

Top 10 Ace1 is around 3850 in my league.

 

I've also managed to get 6.
3 of them red. It was going pretty well in ace top 10 there for a while but that's been moved out of my reach.
Just 1000 more pearls to save until I get my first container..

 

It seems like there is a few batch of ace 1 league, on mine current infamy at no 10 is around 3400, no 1 is at 3700 ++.
Every season will have some fluctuation but can be safe to say to have an average of 3500 infamy to be in the top 10 in ace 1 league.
If I'm not wrong ace 3 league top 3 also guaranteed a legendary piece.
