What is your most common reason for losing?

Most common reason for me losing:

I made a type there sry! I meant speeder! I use mk4 speeder so not much space for a shield, i prefer turbo and bandage! Will post a pick of my loadout later

 

Now that's strange, I do remember playing some matches with or against a player named Zusay, but I myself am in the 2200 infamy range.
It was a few days ago tough, if you really rised that far in just a few days, tell me your secret.

 

sure that's possible! Sometimes I also get matched up with opponents with 2500 infamy and low, which would be totally ok for me (as the game with u) but once you passed 2500 infamy points, i feel like i mainly get matched up with players who have more infamy than me (which is around 3000 as you see on the pic i just took)

 

my post says that i am facing off against many players at 3k infamy - atm i have 2675 infamy in this season but here is a screenshot of my loadout...i also have a 4th blast cannon which i will upgrade to mk4 as soon as my sugar capacity is high enough. and in future i wanna go with flare gun - blast cannon combo, but at my level i definitely feel like 2 blasts are the better choice! For the blue slots i ALWAYS use the turbo + either bandage or standard shield (but i feel like bandage is better if i just run away fast to recover a bit). If you got any questions about my build just go ahead and ask

@Zusay so many epic items, epic items aside, so many duplicates O.O. Your items are superior to mine, how did you get so many epics?

 

i paid 110€ for 10 containers + 14k pearls! but on the side i often farm a lot of gold, buy rare weapons in the store and scrap them, got quite a few legendary pieces over the time!

Are you really saying you only spent 110 euro? Hard to believe tbh.

Either that or you seriously won the rng lottery for pieces. Ive spent 10x that, farmed very hard and not any (zero) epic blast cannon and only 2x epic flare gun.

I would invade a small nation for that setup.

Surprised that not a single person has voted "f*cking floaters". For anyone that doesn't know, "floater" is this game's term for an "AFKer", or a person who isn't there. The guy who just sits in spawn all match and never moves so you have to fight 4 vs 5. People blame matchmaking and cash for losses instead, even though matchmaking just enforces a 50-50 win rate and cash users like @Zusay run into the same problems, just later. A guy on your team just doesn't show up, though? Instant loss most of the time, and it can happen anywhere.

 

Actually i think floaters are a problem 2000 infamy and lower! The higher i get up the less floaters i meet

 

This last week I haven't seen many floaters at all. The large ban combined with server updates must be helping!

 

Floaters are rare and (I assume) happen mostly due to bad connection. Seal clubbers are more problematic, with their suicide runs. So many of them

Speeders are not a tank
Speeders dont have loads of weapons and should hang back and camp
Speeders arent a great all round ship with awesome manoeuvrability
Speeders cant fix stuff

Our primary jobs are:

* scouting ("idiot speeder who dies in 30 secs")
* discrupting enemy lines ("idiot speeder who dies in 30 secs")
* flanking, getting behind the enemy ("idiot speeder who dies in 30 secs")

Now.. sometimes, we also die, quick, but hey, we are speeders. We speed - and also sometimes are ("idiot speeder who dies in 30 secs")

Heres a game I did last night at 2500 infamy. Im mk5 with blue items. It took about 1min, I rushed them head on, got my damage off, got my stuns off and the team backed me up.

Maybe you are the "idiot camper who dies in 5 mins?" Guess what. Im gaining resources. Pearls and experience 5x faster than you.

Maybe a bit of an overreaction. With the amount of Speeders present in the game, one of them dying quickly happens pretty often. Speeder players likely know the weaknesses of the Speeder better than the rest of us, therefore they should already know how to avoid instantly dying at the start of the game.

If you die in less than 30 seconds on a Speeder, there is a very high chance you just did something wrong. I know part of their strategy basically relies on enemies not landing their shots, but most of the Speeders who die at the start of a match don't get railed by lucky-crits or surprise-Legendaries. Most of them die because they rushed headfirst into the enemy like an idiot. If you rush the enemy head on, you're taking a gamble that most of the enemy team, which has their guns pointed directly at you since you didn't actually flank them, is going to miss. If enough of those guys just shoot you with point-damage weapons or land a lucky torpedo, and you don't have some Fixer to fall back on like you did in that match, you either die uselessly or you spend most of the match in a corner with a Band-Aid licking your wounds. The rest of your team is totally justified in disliking you for making dangerous decisions when they turn out badly.

In your post you said you "rushed them head on". If you practically never die from that strategy, calm down, he wasn't even talking about you. If you die fairly often from that strategy, stop defending it.

It just annoys me when everyone tars speeders with the same brush.
I can pretty much tell you for every map what the most common "together" spam routes the noobs will use and yeah, sometimes I get it wrong and insta die but the majority of the time, its fast, high dmg wins.

I couldnt bear to sit in a game for 5 mins sniping, camping, missing. Its just not my thing.

Monobrow, I have played several matches with you and against you, and yes you're able to play really good sometimes. But I have also seen enough matches were you totally screwed up. I have seen you rushing in head on against 5 people, I can know that because I was on the eneemy team and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw an mk5 speeder aproaching js head on without even any kind speed boost.

That mistake aside, I know you're not 1 of the many suicide speeders out there, so don't worry about that. But there was no need at all to call that guy an idiot camper just because he hates those suicide speeders, just like all of us do. And there was also no need to brag about one of your better matches.

I myself also play really well some matches, but sometimes I also screw up, I'm human too you know. But the difference is that we aren't that dumb to aproach enemy team 1 vs 5. No matter how good your skill, you'll always lose that (unless you got maxed out legendaries wich nobody probably has yet)

 

Now hold on, save your fire for a bit. The same case could be made for all classes. The shooter who sits back snipes while everyone dies or the one he thinks is a defender. The speeder who dies in 30 seconds or is not speeding ahead but hiding in the back. The enforcer who thinks he's a speeder or doesn't do the dance. The defender who doesn't defend and runs away or hides. The fixer who either doesn't fix, only fixes himself, or over extends. And everybody that is seal clubbing, afk, or doesn't work together with the team.

But all that doesn't matter. Not everybody is as good or experienced as each other. That's what infamy is for. And, we all have bad games or even days. We all have sometimes have that time when we are supposed to have really good connection and no lag but we have really bad connection for some reason. The point is, this happens to everyone. Don't pin everything on someone else and act like your perfect and never make a mistake or not at fault (no fingers pointed). Everyone has a different style and plays their own way and as long as it's effective, then fine. I'm not complaining, it's your style.

So save your heat and hate and just understand that the general complaints are just general and letting off some steam. But that does not mean we don't have anything to improve on. Everybody has something they can do better. Constrictive criticism is fine, and should be given. Just don't blame everything on others, just a thought.
