This game made me change my mind about mobile gaming. It takes me back, it feels nostalgic in its multiplayer sense. The gameplay is fantastic, graphics and art, brilliant and they've managed to incorporate ads into the game that actually works. I'm happy to watch an ad for the benefits that follow. Whilst I think it's a little pay to win, I feel if there were more benefits with a subscription for a cheaper price I'd be buying it for sure. Otherwise I love the game, brilliant work, keep it up team. Appreciate it. <3

Yes... Of course. I have never played a game for one entire year, and this is how successful the game is. Like you, I like the game style, the graphics, the system and so on.
Just saying, but then actually not a lot of us are here to complain. We are here to suggest and report issues because we care about this game. We all see it's potential, and would like to see the game get better and better. That's why we have forums, I suppose -- a place to discuss about the game itself.
As I was saying, we do actually appreciate the game and the developers. Keep it up developers!

Great game and it's amazing to be able to discuss with the devs directly. Miika especially does an amazing job explaining the nuances and not getting caught up in the flames. Keep it up!

Well, some devs deserve praises. Whoever worked on gameplay and graphics, kudos. As for matchmaking, guild and social content, support, community management, monetization officer, content manager and general manager, I must regrettably give you a failing grade. I don't know if its a lack of vision, staff issues or prioritizing on the wrong aspect of the project, but for experienced gamers, it feels like not enough efforts were put into this project since it's been out. Many things should've been up to par before you could even think of a global launch.
    Here's a few of them:
    • No guild content or events. Or any events for that matter.
    • flawed matchmaking not including class, loadout or boat level.
    • flawed ranking system, high infamy just means you either been spending money on the game or been around for longer than others.
    • social aspect is incomplete, no search device, can't send a message to nonfriends.
    • no gameplay choices.
    • perks seem like an afterthought, "just put them in the shop at random..."
    • leveling system is absolutely dreadful.
    • fleet system is incomplete and renders matchmaking even more uneven.
    • serious ghost shell issue especially vs speeders.
    • community managers unhelpful and uneducated in gaming (they seem too busy playing the game rather than clean up chat for one thing), you know how many kids I friended just to send them warning they could get banned for the horrendous things they were spamming? And how many of them said they were sorry and stopped? How about a chat warning message once in a while...
    • monetization of the game is uninspiring, different special offers with items I might use would've been nice, VIP is seriously overpriced for a game with single content.
In the end, effort brings results and I don't feel like every department of your team has put the effort in for this project. But it is not a lost cause thanks to the addictive gameplay. Let's see what the future brings.

I can agree with the constructive feedback @Anomalix but the point of this post was more meant as a compliment for the concept. I didn't expect release to be perfect and it wasn't. It's bad to judge what we have of the game simply because of how early it is in release. But the deeper meaning behind this post was to appreciate what we DO have of it and to be excited for the future so that the team has a bigger motivation to keep going and so that they're aware that people appreciate what they've worked on. Let's just hope they're the type to listen to their community.

@Sixbits, I did give kudos to the right people. If you buy a car with no breaks and no steering wheel, would you "appreciate" everyone that built it?

I do agree with you on the chat behaviour part of this especially. We seem to only see the Devs communicate in-game when they are playing the game.. we know this because they are often cussing along with the rest of us about teammates poor gameplay and afk-ers. I know a lot of it goes on behind the scenes, but just swinging the ban hammer, without telling the masses that it has actually been swung doesn't imply consequences of porn behaviour. And the odd red message saying behave doesn't really help either. The fact that they come to VIP and spam and circumvent the chat filters means there's a LPT more monitoring that needs to happen. Especially when all the Devs are offline. It seems that these times are a free for all.... Yes, the appreciation for what this game is, and will become is there (really, we do appreciate EVERYTHING that the Devs are trying to do) but I feel that maybe global release was a little premature... Maybe it could have been released to x amount of countries at a time... N

    I would say this.

This game is a game i'd spend time with. I appreciate the devs time and effort to create the game that everyone loves to play. Thank you and keep up to create the game of tomorrow!
