Wow! You are really in this game for the long haul. Only 4 more years until you find out if your request is honored.

Did this update affect healing contribution too? I seem to be down a star on every battle that I’ve played for the past 6 battles or so. I know there is some secret calculation done for healing contribution so I don’t have any way to accurately know if there was a change - but I have played enough battles as fixer to know about where I should be.

I don’t usually use fire with fixer, so it’s not the fire change that I’m feeling.

    No, it affected only fire.

I could upgrade my Jingle Bells if only I had enough epic power cells...

What is the use of upgrading it? I scraped mine as soon as I got it. Are there any special rewards given when you upgrade it or is it just a collector's thing?

Yes, there was a hefty trade in for scrapping it, which I think was Rovio's intent. However, once you scrap it it is gone forever. I kept mine for the collector element.

If the contribution that your friendlies receive is now going to be reduced due to this balancing, surely that now indirectly reduces the contribution we fixers get from patching up the team?

Jingle Bells should become a legit weapon. Upon impact, Rudolph the 'Raging' Red Nosed Reindeer flies by to stomp on the unfriendly.

That or Instagib. Instagib mode ftw.

It's the reward the person receives after the battle that is affected, how will this affect anyone not using fire weapons?

The reduced end of match reward is the side effect of the reduced fire contribution.

The fixers contribution is heavily reliant on the performance (or contribution) of their team mates. It was uncommon to see people not carrying fire weapons. As this is a reduction of contribution across the board, this is likely going to be compounded for the fixer.
