Grenade crit chance?

Why was it nerfed? It did not do anything bad to anyone
Also, why was not it mentioned in the patch notes?

Wow, i just finished building mine
Well thats a Dejavu, right after i finished building my tripple torp it got nerfed into oblivion, now again with the Grenade.

I should start build mines and a firebomb so those annoying pieces will get the nerf they deserve ...

 

It was reduced from 86% to 75.4% (full training, 4 epic perks)
As a long time grenade user I don't think is a bad nerf. If u guys saw the finals of Nation Domination you must have realised how heavy grenade is. It is one of the most used weapons. A slight nerf seems fine

 

My grenade crit chance went down from 64% to 44.2% (full training, 2 perks). That is a huge change that should have been at least mentioned.

 

yeah I agree that it should have been mentioned. You can still make it 75.4% with perks though. It's a direct nerf to long range grenades... the choice of range perks over fire perks was not that balanced imo, they made it right

 

I agree. It behaves really weird though. If I remember correctly, adding +12% crit perk used to add you exactly +12% to the chance.
If I now replace one range perk now with the crit one, it goes up 15.4%.

 

The talents seem to multiply and not add as before.

Before my rare T5 was 76% chance and now it shows 59%.

(Base 10% + Perks 36%) x Talent 30% = 59%
Base 10% + Perks 36% + Talent 30% = 76%

This may be an error on the item display and the % chance is still the same. Who knows!
