Thanks for deleting my thread battle bay team! You proved you guys have no idea for my questions

How are you? You deleted my thread just because I called you guys stupid right?
So let me write this politely as much as I can.
I won't use the word stupid so please don't delete this thread or ban my account.
What if I just call you guys not smart developers?
The reasons are :
I created a thread and asked a question :How to find a user's tag during game? -- No answer.
I created another thread and asked why you guys made search user feature even though you don't allow us to see other users tag during game ( this is really poor, poor extremely poor job. Robio, please pay me 1/2 how you pay for these developers I can do a better design) and you guys just deleted my thread just because I called you guys stupid without answering my question. I'm sorry if that hurts your feeling but you know what I'm talking about. That's silly job. Just suck it up. I'm developer as well and this doesn't make a sense at all.
Just tell me why you guys made a search system like this, please explain me that and don't just delete this thread because you guys have no idea how to answer my question.
Sorry, I'm just mad because I lost 3000 infamy just because of some early die silly users.

Apparently the search players go by "# " 8 letter code, instead of name. I'm quessing to.prevent other players harassing others.

Don't blame the search engine- blame the one who doesn't know how to use it properly. Did you even try to figuring it out, before whining in forums? Another term trail and error. *SIGH*

 

This is something you should adress at support@rovio.com this forum is not for support and is dedicated for discussions.

 

There's details on how improved post match player information in the next update that should address this issue.

Maybe read the patch notes that the game devs have provided before going on a massive rant.

Also don't expect devs to respond to every users post. Yours was not the only post on this topic as there were several.

 

I was frustrated by the search feature as well when I first encountered it. Sorry the devs did not answer your question. Perhaps asking nicely would have helped.

I am not a dev but think I can divine the answer. It was implemented to not let you search by IGN because it would lead to harassment of players. I am sure your intentions were nothing but noble (i.e. report AFK players). But you must recognize that there are trolls and toxic players in every game that would abuse such a system.

So, why add the search feature at all? Well my brother plays this game as well. We can give each other our unique IDs and find each other in game. That is why. The system allows you to find players who want to be found. So now you have the answer you sought.

Personally, I would like to see a future release implement a "thumbs up" "thumbs down" button on the end match screen for each player. I won't go into all the details but it is how Vainglory (a mobile 3vs3 moba game) handles this. It is a good system that lets you commend good play (which gives the thumbs up'd player perks), report AFK players and other issues. However, it does not create an avenue for harassment. You can only hit the button once at the end of the match. You don't get their ID to harass them endlessly. You can send a friend request but they do not need to accept it.

Further if you thumbs down players all the time, your feedback loses value. Your feedback is weighted based on how often you thumbs down players. So if you do it all the time it just gets ignored. But when used correctly it results in temporary bans for players that actually deserve them. If a player is banned enough they end up in the AFK queue where they can only match with other banned players. They then need to complete matches to earn their way back to the main server.

I would like to see something like that here. But I would ask nicely, without calling anyone names. That's just me.
