Stop be so biased towards yellow boats

    Seriously, after the first CTF and the length of time until this one, I had hoped that the coin distribution would be evened out, but that was rather dumb of me. Seriously, I smash the absolute crap out of their flag carrier, kill them and return the flag so we can win - I still get the least coins on my team and their flag carrier that I killed gets more coins than me.

    if carry the flag = coins, and you want coins, carry the flag. The maps are small so it's less yellow boat friendly than the prior CTF.

    It's never going to happen. Just give it up. Every event will be inherently biased towards yellow boats and the devs don't care.

    Incorrect. Smaller maps just mean yellow boats, with their near-cap base speed, have less time to go without the protection of their shields to get the flag there. And every other boat has less time to both break down their shields and then wear down their HP bars while they dodge in circles and around all the numerous obstacles in these maps.

    I can't wait for Miika to come in with THEEEE STAAAAAATTTSS to tell us we're all wrong and that the game is actually in its most balanced state ever.

    Well time to use the defender then, slap on 2 turbos if u have to get max speed. With the new agility, defenders are a beast in this event.

    You literally can not get max speed on Defender. The Defender speed cap is way below the max speed of these events. Try again.

    I'm actually pretty calm, it's just the general scorn for the devs is coming through pretty heavy, but I'm not raising my heart rate over it.

    What do you mean try again, lol. I meant max speed which is the cap speed of defender, which is at 1.38. This speed combined with huge hp, and the new agility makes defenders absolutely solid flag carriers.

    Agreed. This is encouraging shooters and defenders make stupid moves to capture the flag instead of doing their job - protect their flag kill enemy carriers. Everyone wants to carry flag and it is making the event so stupid and chaotic. Please please please balance the coins distribution so that the CTF event can be played sensibly with ships doing their job.

    I had multiple battles, where I was only yellow boat
    I had no chance to take the flag and travel at least ¼ of the distance to my base without sinking, recent agility updates caused this
    I can't outrun enemy turrets, nor hide when I carry flag becuase their turrets will flawlessly chase me...
    huge burst potentiall of shooter and defender combined with inability to use nitro/OB while carrying flag, recent agility updates and lower health make it impossible for me to capture enemy flag
    it's much easier for me to hang around my flag or or shield-cover friendly flag carrier, I can still get 8 coins easily...I attack enemy flag carriers (even sometimes suicide-dive into enemy team just because my teammates fail to stop enemy flag carrier, so I need to dive into them to get our flag back)
    my flare+double blast (around 2.3k burst damage) combined with 900hp tesshield and OB are ideal for escorting (but not full time, I won't survive going through enemy base), returning flag and distracting enemy, I am able to draw enough enemy attention (and, most important, firepower) to make it possible for my teammate to capture, yet I am not able to capture so I know that I should never move too far away from my flag when we don't have speeder, because there is no chance (at at least at my level) to capture with anything else
    it's now even easier to defend flag, than ever was (and it was hard enough) so this event is not really "biased towards yellow boats"

    But what OP mentioned is that flag carriers (usually yellow boats, even with all the points you have mentioned) get way more coins than other players who do some difficult job as well.

    Enforcers on both sides were able to capture enemy flag and bring it to base with the help of team mates who escorted them. Then they were kept alive by fixers with some good work all while carrying the flag. Then remaining two players went to enemy bases to try break their defense and return the flag. This happened on both sides at the same time.
    Now enforcers wouldn't have been able to bring enemy flag without the help of escorting speeders.
    Enforcers wouldn't have survived without a single death all game while carrying the flag without the healing by fixers.
    Game wouldn't have gone anywhere if the other two players went to enemy bases. ( it anyways didn't go someone's way lol )
    In the end enforcers (carriers) got 8 coins in a draw while all others got 4 and 3 coins for their hard work.

    This is making everyone be selfish and go for capturing the flag. CTF isn't working as needed. Only a fair way of distributing coins will make every ship do their job and let CTF work as it should.

    TLDR : There should be a better way for distributing coins instead of favouring flag careers (general assumption : yellow boats) way too much.

    I don’t see how the TDM and Elimination events, that only award coins based on damage, are biased towards Speeders. I haven’t managed to get a Legendary perk for over a month with the crappy rewards those events give.

    By all means, give Shooters better rewards for guarding the flag, and while you’re at it, give Speeders a coin per kill in TDM. I’m so fed up of getting 5 kills and zero deaths, only to be awarded 2 coins, while the idiot who suicided all game finishes first.

    Yellow boats ( especially speeder) get ZERO love. Flag holding being coins is compensation for that bullshit

    Leaderboard used to be filled with speeders for a long time. Double bubble enfo because meta after speeders stepped down and it still is. What more do yellow boats need to "get some love?" Compare with defenders and be grateful for what you have already.

    That's the past. The PRESENT, however..

    Speeders are doo doo. Face it. flowery agility ruined the experience.
    TS got nerfed. Enforcer is garbage now.

    Right, so 13 people in top 50 are enforcers and 15 are speeders, so that means they suck. And the 5% hp nerf for tesla shields obviously turns enforcers from op to garbage.
