    This is intended for players that uses Defender as their main ship. If you are not a defender, please don't vote.

    As a defender, I like the new update. I like the feeling that we are more agile and can aim faster. Although we have the least agility and turret speed among all other ships, I feel we have the most balanced stat (not dizzying). I also like that there is 2 less blue items when we combine blue pieces. Also like that the new weapon will not hurt us because of our high defense.

    imo, this defender agility update is by far the most "balanced" of all the five ships. Work has to be done on the others now.

    If they would ever balance out the other 4 ships, i wish they would not take away what the defender has gained from this update.

    Free T5 legendary gear lube and rudder even without using up my valuable hp blue slots . Only ones whining are the super op enfo and speeder spammers who now must develop actual skills rather than just exploiting over powered unfair yellow items. Ty Rovio now it is much more balanced!

    I’m playing defender all the time and at around 3300 infamy

    For me this change is horrible due to the effect on aiming, I find it is now extremely difficult to do minor aim adjustments quickly and effectively. I’m addition to this the ships targeting is all messed up. This is especially bad if I am targeting someone and trying to manoeuvre the ship at the same time; it tends to switch targets. I’m getting frustrated when I shoot my railgun in this process as it tends to go flying into space.

    I was already using rudder and lube, so update is amazing. No. Problem. Whatsoever. My concern is that which all the backlash they change it. Please leave Defender like this!

    defender has needed a buff ever since the game started
    so now if other ships complain then defender players have had the right to complain since may 4 2017

    In my opinion this update is an indirect nerf to both defenders and slow weapons.

    By buffing us the least, they have indirectly nerfed us. We have always been the slowest, biggest, and therefore easiest to hit.
    What advantage have we gained from this update? We can turn faster and our turret moves quicker. Great, who cares?

    The skilled players you are going to be up against are going to keep you at maximum range where it doesn't matter how fast you turn or aim.

    You can't weave like they do to avoid shots. If you weave quickly, your path looks like this where your center of mass never exits the extents of your boat:

    Your big blue slow butt is still the easiest target to hit on the bay, especially at range.

    The skilled yellow boats (4.5k + infamy) that actually have the ability to drive and shoot are taking maximum advantage of their newfound agility. They are smaller, faster, more agile, and accelerate better than you. Rest assured the more and more of the yellow boats on the bay will soon figure it out too.

    I find it incredibly difficult to hit the yellow boats that ALWAYS stay at maximum range and drive like this:
    "___ _____ _____"
    " \ / \ /"
    " \___/ \___/"...

    Well trying to draw an exaggerated wavy path over 3 lines failed (what happened to the spacing?), but you get the idea...

    When you face these guys you'll be incredibly frustrated that you can't catch up to them, out maneuver them, or shoot them.

    In my opinion this update is an indirect nerf to slow weapons as well. It is now way more difficult to hit a weaving yellow with a slow ass explosive cannon shell. Furthermore, it is also difficult to hit them with medium velocity flare. These two weapons are the staple of big blue and the explosive cannon is now rendered more useless than ever before.

    This update is another nerf to blue and you will realize it sooner or later. More agility and turret speed is strictly better on any boat. When players learn to compensate, we will suffer even more.

    defender is a "tank" its never meant to be so agile like "Assassins"/enfo/speeders.speeders with 6-7k hps are massacred at expense of so called max agility

    This max agility took the skill out of the game - even for defenders. I absolutely hate it.

    This update hasn't make the defender "better", just on par with shooter. Yellow boats can still wreck us easily.
    Now you have to, more than ever, not miss any shot otherwise you're screwed. BIG TIME.
    Balancing has to be done, let us setup how nimble we want our ships to be, please.

    I find bananas are so much easier to hit! Just target lock and lead my grenade about 1/2 mile in front and they eat it more often than not!

    I play at 2000-2300 infamy and it is amazing. I'm coming up on a leggy blue and now whatever I get will help me greatly.If I get a bandage it will also help out my speeder.

    Mostly and improvement for defenders. But still an overshoot.

    I have used rudder. Stopped at.25 percent. I have used.lube. And stopped at 50 percent. Didn't feel the need to go further.

    Generally speaking my favorite game mode was the 3vs3 with speed up and ailigity boost of 15 percent. That felt just right.

    Too each their own. But universally for every boat probably the later update has gone too far. But as a defender. Since we were the slowest unmanueverable boat this update will be the easiest to digest and handle.

    I'm not a defender, but I did decide to jump on my mk 5 defender today... and it holds up surprisingly well :) (I usually run mk 6 at ~3.3k infamy)
    Unlike the other ships, the movement of the defender is actually manageable (because of insanely high agility on everything except fixer).
    If the other ships are going to have a decrease in agility soon, then I hope defender gets a decrease too, but not as much of a decrease (excuse my bad attempt at grammar).

    i love it , even i'm still mk5 defender at ace 1 , around 3200-3300 infamny .

    the agility and turret are ok , not over like any other boat ( i was shooter only before )

    gonna start saving some gold to upgrade my defender to mk6

    my setup
    Red item :
    Rare T5 cannon ( fully trained - 3.6s CD 115dps )
    Max Epic T5 EC ( with 2 crit perk , around 1450 considering defence point , and aroun 3100 when hit crit )
    Max Legendary T1 RG ( 1950 at 100 dmg )

    Blue item :
    legendary T1 turbo
    Max Epic T4 Big shield
    Max Rare T4 standar shield
    max Rare T2 standar shield

    HP : around 11900

    even though 2 items reduced from blue parts now we have all useful items
    big shield,small shield,turbo,bandage
    my ship is uncontrollable.
