We will get a new guy for this weapon , with a new skill tree??? ( Minigun Mickey )

imho important questions

1. new crew member or new skills for one of the current crew members?
2. normal cannon perks or new, exclusive for this item, perks?
3. any combo possible? (fire, frost or new one)
4. carronade-like spread of projectiles or not? if yes, then it will be just just heavy version of carronade
5. one or two point weapon? I hope hope that it's two, it could also be three point but that would be imho bad
6. how many projectiles? it looks like there are four barrels but it could fire more than one projectile from each barrel
7. any crew training based debuff caused by this weapon?
8. shooting straight like railgun or firing like other cannons?

 

Looks like Terraria's Minishark. Hope it works better. Lol

 

Could also be a barrage of small damages over a period of time

I was thinking about this too. I'd say the odds are on a new captain with additional talents for a new boat as well . Remember the poll from last month? I still think we are getting both of them, and it would be a mess to get the weapon without the talents and the new captain without any additional content.

And it could be a super heavy 3-slot weapon meant for defenders

 

I think training will be needed to add to the number of projectiles like carronade and missiles do now.

Agree with above that this is probably being thought of as defender weapon and is sort of a buff for that boat (as opposed to actually buffing the boat directly)

 

Oooooh shiny! By the barrel configuration we can make out, I reckon it's gonna be a 5 barrel minigun type of thing. Hopefully it'll have a similar damage to carronade (or a little higher), but straight shots rather than spread out. Also reckon it'll be 2 slots, and maybe 14+ sec cooldown... Interesting

 

will they add a new crew member for this in the filtered image it looks like I could be electric buzzkill?

 

I am curious how the developers will roll out the weapon.
Obviously, almost nobody can just goto the shop and spend 3000 pearls to get a Tier 1 Epic and then actually use it in battle and then take months to work on duplicates.
Hopefully the developers have some solution to allow players to get duplicates faster at the beginning so we can catch it up to our other weapons.
After over a year of playing I still have only received 1 Epic Explosive cannon, so not looking forward to how long it could take to get a playable "minigun"(if that is what it is).

 

Watch it, lol.

I think AM is pretty happy with his current setup though.
