Is this to be expected?

Started to be matched against people with 3000+ battles under their belt.

Is that too be expected? Me and team mate had 700 HP, both opponents had 1700 each

Seems a tidy bit unfair.....

 

He is using the same MK boat as you and he is also carrying weak weapons but with higher talent developments as he is higher level.

He is several levels above me, his weapons are level 18 and 10 against mine level 4 ones. His crew obviously will be way higher than mine.

At least now I know I should keep a boat at starter level, so I can, later in the game, equip my maxed weapons and ridiculously high level crew to fough level 7 newbies on, according to this game, fair grounds.

 

There is some "rule" where if you equip a high tiered weapon MM will consider you as a person who is trying to cheat the system, and it will alter the matchmaking to a fair level that it desires. Meaning if you select a MK 1 boat with let's say Epic T5s, the system will alter your matchmaking for you to face against MK 5 and above as they also may carry Epic T5s. It's just a preventation of higher level players smacking low level players and farming coins all day.

 

Not what I have seen

Battle lasted thirty seconds, 4-0 as we got two shoo killed twice.

I am level seven. That guy is over 1000 infamy. His weapons were collectively twenty levels above mine. Oh, and he is level TWENTY SEVEN - also twenty levels above me, or, to put it better, four times my level. F o u r times.

I don't even HAVE infamy. He have thousands. Every way you look, this is a ridiculous match. But the"explanation" I got was "your ships are the same mk" which, apparently, make the match fair and balanced.

If THIS happen right at the beginning of the game, is it worthy AT ALL to try to play further?

 

Well, he was only carrying 2 T1 Epics and a T2 Rare which they should do about 250 damage each at his level (Referring to approximation of his talents), that guy is level 27 and (Again) he is using those weaker items and boat but stronger talent development to beat up low level players in this event. He's dodging the system with those weaker items.

 

Yeah, I know what droppers are like and edgy they do it. Sad to see it can be even more explored here than in clash Royale.

You don't have to drop, just choose low tier but ridiculously upgraded items, and go fly with your 20+ levels and crew, the system will give you happy pairing, no sweat

 

Well, your team mate pull you against stronger enemies. Because of that, you can't team up with some guild mates, because difference between yours and his infamy is to big.

 

Not the case. My partner was level six

The other opponent was level twenty four

So it was a team of a lv 7 and a six, against 27+24

 

Also, how interesting, he and his partner have the same name.

 

There are tons of posts complaining about the match making, myself included. But this has been my experience:
During normal matches (not events):
As my infamy grows, not due to any great skill or weapons of mine, but mostly with luck of my team, I start getting pitted against mk4's, mk5's and mk6's, with my mk2 ship and 2k gear score.
My infamy starts to rise above 800 and get to 1000 and then 1200 and I'm the only mk2 among all the mk5 and mk6 ships in the matches. I feel sorry for my team. I get killed with 2 shots.
But my team is good and they win the match. My infamy goes up and I'm back at fighting high lvl players in the next match.
During event matches:
My mk2 ship gets pitted against other mk2's and sometimes mk3's but they many of them now have lvl 1 legendary weapons to kill me in 2 shots.
Every 1 out of 10 matches I actually get matched with others that are similar lvl, with similar weapons and similar skills. Those matches are FUN!!!

I don't know why I continue to play this game. I wish I could get a mk6 ship and jump to lvl 45 so I can have fun with everyone else, but the game just doesn't make it fun for lower lvl players to progress.

seriously man?nothing happens by this broken mm and gear score system.Today i{lvl40,infamy 3000} faced a 4800 infamy,lvl 50 player seal clubbing{famous player,seen him at youtube} from HXD

 

Unfortunately for new players, this is the matchmaking. A system driven by the infamy of players to match them up with players of the same infamy range. Yes, this is to be expected ( with my switch to MK5 I fit in much better in Masters league), you just gotta push through.

it's possible to get the replay when you have player's tag and "code" (that # and random letters thing) of the battle

 

I'm the whole match I managed to deal 500 total, using explosive and blast Canon (65 And 115 DMG per shot). Or was about 30% of The life of ONE of the opponents.
