Tesla bolt special event perk idea

Tesla bolt could use little bit of buff. My idea is to buff it via new special event perk.

Perk idea - (legendary one)..

+25% chance to deal damage to enemy.

Q: How would the damage be dealt?
A: My idea is it would work like flare, until the stun is broken or the duration is over. The damage per second would be two times the stun duration (we don't want to go crazy here with high numbers) - so stun with 15s duration would ideally do 30x15 damage (that's 450 damage).

Q: Why this idea?
A: When railgun can stun enemies, why couldn't stun make damage?

Q: What about fire bonus damage?
A: Nope, we don't want to enhance the fire overuse even more, plus..

Q: What would it help then?
A: I think this concept could also help realise the friends NOT TO break stuns (and ergo decreasing the damage it would deal).

 

I would prefer, -cooldown and max 25% chance for unbreakable stun for 5 sec(legendary). Similar for frost blaster too +slow and unbreakable effect for 5 sec.

 

Maybe like a 20% chance to ignore stun resistance?

 

Instead of +duration and -cooldown ,
why can't we add like this one?

+10% faster projectile speed for bolt
-8% cooldown.

What do u think guys?Duration buff will be OP I think so,because max level tesla bolt will have atleast 11 sec stun duration.

 

Duration buff would be pointless. What I want is 5 sec unbreakable stun like bolt has invulnerability. Nothing will remove stun and frost too. -cooldown and % chance that stun becomes unbreakable.

 

Actually my t4 rare already lasts about 11 seconds lol. @Shadow Moon! is definitely onto something, though.

 

Tesla Bolt needs a buff that will help with defense rather than offence. Cooldown would be good, unbreakable for 3-5 seconds would also be good (it should at least cover GCD).

 

Exactly that will counter bubbles too. Now that every item is getting their op perks stun, ob, nitro should also get their own unique perks. The new tesla shield hp perks will make rare shields viable but they will make top end shields unbreakable.

 

Reduces damage by 20% for 5 seconds after breaking.

 

Perk idea: vampire.
10% / 15 of damage dealt to you will heal you for 35%

 

What, this idea is a nerf to the tesla bolt lol

 

This is on the unfriendly So you stun them with your TB and after it breaks (either naturally or by attacks), their damage is then reduced by 20% for 5 seconds.

 

Many good ideas here! Let's see what devs will come up with

 

i know! make it when you break a tesla bolt, 40% of the duration gets ADDED (- the enemy, + for you) onto you. so nubs like shoooter mk5s wont be spammin'
