    I've had no luck Frost Blaster. I tried to pair it with my useless Standard Mortar with all Frost perks but ran into two issues. 1) Frost Blaster's distance is far greater than Standard Mortar... so I could Freeze an opponent, but couldn't get in close enough before the Freeze expired. 2) Freeze gets reset after a single hit. In other words it takes 2 items to get a single boosted mortar shot, and that's it, nothing like the constant burning effect that stays on a boat allowing multiple shots. When I get Frost Blasted in a game, it a little annoying but does almost nothing...I slow for a few seconds and then go on about my play.

    I have had more luck with Frost Blaster + Big Torp. I can get right up to a single opponent, Freeze then Torp them because I'm at close range.

    Which do you prefer? I'm wondering if I should toss all my dups of one or the other to focus on evolution.

    At one glance I'd say frost launcher; you can spam it while relentlessly mortaring the enemy from behind the cover of your teammates. I've seen a few successful frost mortar enfos, but never a good frost torp speeder (Ace II leaguer here... idk about Ace I or Nightmare). But at the end if the day I guess it really depends on what you have, and which you prefer.

    I've been told:

    Launcher is for mortars. Maybe torps.
    Blaster is mainly for torpedoes.
