Hey everyone, post your sightings of the many different ways players have tried to cheat the system. All players doing this should definitely be reported for manipulating their gear score.

First off, people who use one or more unleveled common item in their setup.

Second, those who intentionally leave a slot or two empty.

Please add yours! And be on the lookout for these types of cheaters!

I wouldn't exactly call it cheating, maybe exploit, but certainly not cheating.
Also, if the devs don't want people to do certain things, they shouldn't make it possible to do in the first place.

    Why wouldn’t it be cheating?

I haven't got a picture for these but here are mine:
    • Using a lower Mk ship
    • Removing perks
    • Having a mk1 with commons and destroying the absolute newcomers to the game, which, due to training and experience is very easy.
    • Not sure if this counts, but fleeting with another exploiter.

    Here's mine:

When 2 players fleeted together use 6 flares to viciously flare-fuck the enemy team

    Please ban these 2

None of the fits shown here are "cheats" or "exploits". Players are allowed to play events with whatever they want as long as they are not intentionally losing to ruin games.

What we are seeing here is the equivalent of slashing one of your own tires before joining a car race. Stupid for sure, but not an exploit. The only thing you are doing is actually putting yourself in *disadvantage*.

You are not going to get easier matches by manipulating the matchmaker in such obvious ways.

Does this mean that matchmaking also considers training now?
