Did you like 2V2 Special Event?

I loved it to the core. I could fleet with someone with whom I could discuss strategies in chat. It wasn't possible before. That's hell of an awesome feature.

Unfortunately, I didn't play it a lot because of poor matchmaking. It totally ruined my experience. See this:

Two Mk5's are getting matched with two Mk7's having lots of legendaries. Seriously?

 

Yep been there too many time, also when that happened my teammates don’t bother to play just stay still and getting killed, It very frustrated.

 

Don't understand why you're bothered by them having legendaries. They're weaker than T4 epics that you have. I'd be more bothered by the T5 epics they had

 

Sometimes there are ridiciouls matchmakings but generally that was fun I loved it

 

I loved this Event! Specially that Fleet up Part! Not to Mention that i got my Godlike Achievement during this Event Only! So let's Celebrate it with Booty Dance!

 

Nope I hated the events as always too many seal clubbers

 

The fleeting part was okay I guess but all my friends didn't want to fleet with me

 

Even when you lose, you get coins based on the damage you have done. You know that. Right?

 

From my perspective, matchmaking could have been better, but as a casual gamer, my stance was "whatever, I just play for fun". Sure, it was frustrating to be killed by higher Mk-level and GS ships with max level and/or legendary weapons, but at the end of the day, my goal was to get as many Battlecoins as possible.

My stats for the 2x2 event:-
Played 72 matches (could have played more but other things took priority).
Won: 38
Lost: 34
Win Ratio : 53%
Battlecoins collected : 478
Average Coins per Win : 8
Average Coin per Loss : 5

So, seeing that if one went in with the mindset that you would get at least 4-5 coins for "trying hard but lost anyway", the outcome wasn't that dire. Also, it helped me build up those weapon achievements.

 

My favorite so far.

 

Loved it as I got to fleet with a few lunatics (in a good way before anyone starts!) And even going in solo was hell of a laugh.
The matchmaking was pretty bugged though, I kept getting matches with warrior and master league players, so I kinda felt bad for destroying them within the first minute.... And then got matched with nightmare players who were under shipping/trying to manipulate gear score. Still, I really enjoyed playing against them, I won a few, and lost a few against them.

(Disclaimer - I have never, and will never, try to manipulate gear score or use lower level boats with hefty weapons. I go full bore, full attack with the best setups I have!)

 

Absolutely yes. Just need more small maps.
Same map feels like over repeatative and boring.

Yes mostly I get 4 to 5 coins

 

I think it was pretty damn awesome, so fun to rig up two shooters for close range combat (flares and ecs) and just wreck havoc.
Fleeting with guild members we would get insane winning streaks.. Doing games with randoms was more like flipping a coin.

I wonder how many godlike achievements was unlocked this event

 

matcaking is broken seriously.this game need a big update and some balance changes.enough of this double bubblers

 

Yeah we added each other as friends. Next time we are both one, we will custom

 

This event is different from all the events I have played.It's quite good because I could finally communicate with my teammates, which they hardly/never do in other events.And that made good results for me. So I have finally got my first epic event perk after weeks of trying ( Of course I didn't get any legendary perk,but that doesn't matter.)
About the fleet feature, I don't have any friends in the game so I didn't take any benefits from it.

 

Lots of legendaries show how senior they are. They are either hyper experienced or rich. Betrer trained crew should be available to them.
