    Erhmm Devs, not to rain on your parade but where is the ingenuity? 3v3 then 1v1 and now 2v2?

    Understand that you can now fleet but isn't that a bit repetitive?

    Are you serious? "Where is the ingenuity"... 3v3 =/= 1v1 =/= 2v2. They are different. Some people will just find anything to complain about.

    What if? It'll be different again. Do you want them to just do 5v5 forever? THAT would be a lack of ingenuity. 2v2 + fleets allowed is a MASSIVE change from anything we've done so far.

    I can see the rationale between 3v3 & 1v1 as something different from 5v5. Numbers are reduced but the gameplay variance is much different.

    2v2 will be a more glorified version of 1v1. Dual speeder fleet will be the meta. It doesn't really differ much from 1v1.

    I'm thinking dual defender will be meta as they can now focus on 1 ship and kill it before they can kill the defender I think. Cannons obviously.

    If it's against shooters than yes. But any yellow boats will most likely mow them down.

    I always struggle as a yellow boat versus some 12k hp defender. They just charge me so maybe it's just the way I play which sucks at this match up :p

    Looks like a fun event to me. Every week is something different. Love it!

    Actually, the setups I want to try are:
    Defender and a Fixer(with Two Duct Tapes and One high level Repair Bolt and a Tesla Bolt, to keep speeders in check)
    Defender and Speeder(speeder with two cannons or flare and running two tesla bolts and an overboost)

    This is the first event you can fleet with a friend and the strategy you plan out beforehand might actually give you the win.

    Bingo. Pick a guildmate, have complimentary loadouts, and share some tactics before queuing.

    That said, I'll lodge my complaint in advance here about how Fixer will likely be the worst ship, and Speeder/Enfo will dominate again. ;)

    Any friend will work for fleeting, but if you fleet with a guildmate you'll get double contribution towards your guild quest progress.

    Fixer + tank Shooter may work, other loadouts I don't think will have the necessary damage output to eliminate an opponent first, even with the healing.
