Did you like the 1v1 Special Event?

It could have been nice, but the inbalance and the seal clubbers ruined.

 

I loved this event. I had been thinking for a while about trying some Selfish Fixer, and this was the event I broke it out.
Mk5 Fixer with T4 Rare Duct Tape, T2 Epic and I built a T2 uncommon for this event. Using T4 Rare Explosive Cannon and alternated between Nitro and Tesla Bolt.
I won about 80 to 85% of battles, tied in 10 to 15% and Lost maybe 5% (which was great for my cannon guild quests).
I only would lose against Enforcers that had bubbles/bolts/flares/blasts. And a few speeders that had flare/blast/bolt/bubbles. Once I put the tesla bolt on, I could usually get those type of matches to ties.
Most of my ties were against Defenders with 9000+ HP or really good bandages.
Many times I would win 1:0 or 2:0 and the loser would get just as many coins, but it was still fun.

Yeah, my double blast speeder/nutcracker shooter burned through enemies. I even ran into a fixer with pulse and bolt. I felt bad so I let them kill me once

I like it. I also like it on reward system. I got 5 legendary items. ( 2 red, 2 blue, 1 yellow ). But the matchmaking is too bad. Atleast matchmaking will be mk5 to mk5.
Even I am loosing the game, I got 5 or 6 coins depends on the damage. ( If u won 8 coins ).I think it's easy to reach 35 coins to get the items. ( 10 items _ 1 legendary ) . I got 5

 

I liked the rewards system. I think we should keep that. But one on one gameplay, breakable captures, 1-1 draws and coin distribution were just complete dumpster fire.

 

The idea is great and I won my fair share but the matchmaking was awful, it should have a limit of a difference of 1000GS if it can't match you to anyone within that limit then it waits. I think we would all prefer this to unfair matches. Once cricket season is over I am going to own on these events but I lose every Saturday and Sunday currently so still waiting for my first legendary!

 

Didn't struggle at all bro!! Just so bored playing Chicken Run from the speeders and enforcers that wouldn't fight!! What is the point of 1v1 if there is no one to fight because they run and hide and just pop out long enough to stop a capture then run off and hide again? That takes ton of skill to hide for a draw. Standing ovation to all the Chicken Run players out there!!! Just glad that now maybe the devs @ Miika @ Zeus et all will look at the data and finally decice that enforcers need a major fix!!! Maybe one good thing will come outta this atrocius weekend!

I had a fixer in a battle once too. After I killed that fixer, I realized it was carrying pulse, bolt, and box. I assumed he/she probably was clicking the wrong button like I was many times. I let that fixer win after doing maximum damages without kill.

 

Yes, 3v3 is the best.

 

Bring back 3v3 with no respawn and the first event perks !

 

Too many people getting killed quickly then just playing for a draw which makes the event boring quickly and yet again the event shows just how little the devs think about defenders.
It is another event where there is no perks for shields and with no achievements to gain leg shields, defenders get left behind again and punished for choicing to be a defender.

 

I played a mk5 defender 99% of the time during these events and won 99% of the time. On the other hand, playing a speeder during the duel event was much more efficient for coin farming.
