New event 1v1 duels

Let's assume Infamy is not used. It's reasonable considering 50% of my matches are against Nightmare players, and I've never been over 3200. What's there left for EventMatchmaker(tm) to use?

Gear Score? My opponent exceeds my gear score, so far, 100% of the time (15 out of 15), by an average of 1000.
Training? My average opponent is the same Captain Level as me

So what's left to use? This is the same behavior I saw last event. With 1v1 the problems with EventMatchMaker(tm) are even more obvious, and its flaws are even worse than all of us feared.

 

OMG I just thought of the best and flawless solution to this, everymatch will be you against your mirror If you die the enemy will die as well at the exact same time, fair enough right?

 

Managed to get up to 59 win streak, i lost to a defender with 1k gear score more than me and 16k hp!

My last 4 games . Seriously Rovio look into your Match making. This is beyond funny now. It's no fun to play like this. I have stated to float when ever I see mk7 speeders and Enforcer now. SMH

 

You think you got it bad. My mk4 defender got matched with a mk6 defender

You beat up mk4s and mk5s though with your mk6/mk7 ship.

 

I've consistently been taking down Mk6 shooters and defenders in my Mk5 enfo. For once the yellow boats are having their time to shine (1vs1 is what we live for!)

 

Played a game and just gave up when I knew it was another cheater.
