Is it beneficial to scrap Level 50 items?

Love my Fire Bomb but have now got an Epic Firebomb I'm trying to build up and need some materials. I'm so scared that I am going to hit scrap and instantly regret it because the return will be low and not worth it.

 

The return has a good chance of being low and not worth it. I scrapped a t4 and it was extremely underwhelming.

If I were you I’d run both and try to get your legendary achievement quicker. Then maybe think about scrapping.

 

The amount of stuff you get from scrapping is just too underwhelming

As you can see a lvl 50 rare firebomb is as strong as a lvl 34-35 firebomb. So if you want to scrap the rare, you'll want to have that epic firebomb at level 35 before doing so. ViscountSniffit's idea is still the best though!

 

Great thoughts for sure, still want to know if anyone has scrapped a maxed out piece and what they got for it.

 

I don't have the screenshot for a rare t5. But here is me scrapping my t4 lvl 40 epic long range mortar.


Verdict: I definitely got benefitted from scrapping it as I needed the parts badly. But, if ur not hurry for the parts, then I would suggest u to keep it and get the legendary FB and then scarp the rare one.

 

Summary: Don't scrap at least until your epic strength exceeds your rare strength (T4 Epic). Your perks are also fairly weak on that Rare... you can beef up the power on your Rare in the mean time, and you can always run both.

No, don't scrap It.
First of all, the damn thing deals 70x16 damage. That's equal to 1120 damage if you get em in the center. Sure, it's less if they ain't close, but still mighty.

Also, you don't have a very high chance of getting epic or legendary pieces from the scrapping, so just beef it up, slap the epic one beside it, and get ready for 'super firebomb bros'

 

Id keep 2 of most weapons for guild quests - You can always scrap the rare once you get to 10million damage.

Do you intent to play with 2 fire bombs? If you do, keep it, if you don't, scrap it and use the parts to improve your items

 

Yes I did and what I got is very less compared to what I expended. But scrapping is a good option of you have better rarity item of better level.
After scrapping a level 50 rare sniper I got these as in photo. I actually used two sniper in my shooter. The reason I scraped it is I got the legendary sniper as a replacement, and I have had a Lev 40 epic sniper. I thought it's worth a little

 

I’m ‘extremely’ concerned by the number of Epic Rudders and Gearlubes that it gave in that video. I hope that isn’t representative of their probability.
