Proof:

• The torpedo deals 666 damage per projectile
• The torpedo has 3 projectiles
• The torp is tier 3
• It has 3 torp damage perks of the same rarity
• The spread of the torpedoes is 15° which is divisible by 3
• The cooldown is 13.5 seconds, that when divided by 1.5, which is 3/2, gives you 9, which is 3 squared
• The last two digits of the gear score are 3s
• It also takes 30 powercells to evelove it, which is divisible by 3
• Max damage is 954, which just like 666, is divisible by 3, 9, and 18.
• It also takes 3 more duplicates to get the torp to T5
  
• If look at the image it shows three 1s, and 1+1+1 = 3
  
• The next upgrade adds 12 more damage, which is divisible by 3. And when you divided 12 by 3, you get 4, and the projectile speed just happens to be 4.3
• The description is 'Launches three torpedoes in an arc, and 'torpedoes' is 9 characters long and 'arc' is 3 characters long
• And my captain level is 33

I believe this is enough information to convince you.

That scrap button has 3 arrows which form a triangle like shape. *illuminati logo
Gold and sugar both divisible by 3.

 

I was skeptical at first, so I decided to take a look at my own weapons.

The t3 level 30 flare, does 39 damage, which is 3 tens and 3x3. That’s 13 threes in total which is the square root of 169... 169 x 3.9393939... = 666

Also, 39 damage multiplied by the duration of 17.1 equals 666 damage!

That’s when I made this shocking discovery. If you rotate the Flare image by 666 degrees, you can see that it is clearly a hidden illuminati symbol, of an eye atop a pyramid!

 

I left the game at the 3rd...

I also found a lot of symbolism on some UI elements in this game.
This scrap button in particular looks very suspicious.
