Alright. How to kill a speeder.
In a 1v1 against a speeder, let me be clear, IF it is a good speeder, you barely stand a ghost of a chance. Let's talk about that.
Shooters are mostly sniper-class players. Always remember, a duel with a speeder(1v1) is a game of deception. I won't elaborate, you can PM me on this, I don't wanna make this message too long lol.
Let's talk about timing. Speeders are runners, and most of the time, when we aren't running, we're shooting. The most important thing in killing speeders is KNOWING THEIR SETUP and the gaps it creates. Let's talk about this. (I'm not discussing weapons here btw, the peeps before me did a fine job
)
Tip #1: PLAY SPEEDER
Do this at least once in your BB career. Why? Two reasons. You gotta think like us to kill us better. And because having two weapons running gives you a unique perspective of something I like to call "the value of a bullet". You learn not to waste time, or shots. Neat skill.
Tip #2: Judge the setup
Now, this is the tough part. Identification. Anyone whose speeder game is strong reflexively finds the entire loadout of their opponent, and plans their attacks accordingly. Remember what I said about deception? NEVER PULL OUT YOUR ANTISPEEDER WEAPON UNTIL THERE'S A 100% CHANCE THAT YOU'LL HIT YOUR MARK. Little things like hiding your carro and making the enemy overconfident can, depending on the situation, give you an edge. BUT judging the setup is something you must learn.
What you also must know(if you aren't going to play speeder) is weapons and how they work on speeders. You have to know which range your adversary is comfy with, and pound them down from outside it.
Finally, the yellows.
One nitro: No problem
Multiple nitros: Just after they shoot/just when their GCD starts, lead your shot to where they're going.
Stun: The stun has a 20s(I think) CD so you'll be fine, just look at your stun resistance and adjust accordingly.
TShield: Pack an "eggbreaker" or two(a weapon with huge base damage like an RG or ex)
I could write an essay on how loadouts interact with each other and stuff, but damn it would be long. If you want, ofc, I'm ready to write a ton of stuff on personal chat.
I have some good news for you tho. You'll probably never be a speeder's #1 target(unless you become a speederkilling legend hehe) so you can stick around and ambush speeders too!
