My Job clashes with events, please extend time devs

So I've run into a problem with the events and it's going to make me seriously consider quitting the game or forcing me to find a new job. I'd rather not do either since i enjoy both.

For my job I normally have to work Friday/Saturday/Sunday, sometimes I have to start earlier like Thursday or even Wednesday. And I am away for the whole time. So I leave for a job on say Thursday and I won't get back home until Sunday night. Also my job involves alot of camping so no wifi, and the hotel company we use makes you pay for wifi (and its expensive), so this means i can't play BattleBay while I'm away for work.

It looks like the Battlebay events are going to be a weekend thing mainly. This i feel excludes me from the events, and I don't want to fall behind everyone since I won't be able to get the cool new perks. Part of the reason BattleBay was attractive to me was that there was no special weekend events that would clash with my job, and I could play when I want and not feel like I was excluded from anything.

So please devs, it would really help me out alot if the events always started on Wednesday or finished later, giving me a chance to at least play in a event for a little bit and get the minor rewards.

A dev said that events being in the weekends isn't a rule, it just was the case for the last 2. So it could be that the next one is in a different time of the week.

Thanks for the reply guys. Super annoyed though, I left for work a few hours before the event started and got back a few hours after it ended, so i didn't get to play in it at all. I was proper eyeing up that carronade perk, hope i get a chance to play the next event.

 

Problem with short events is that there is always someone who's going to miss them due to their work schedule or some other reason (spending weekend quality time with family etc).

Making events full one week would solve this problem for most people. You could just limit the number of times you can claim rewards from the event so there wouldn't be people with 6 legendary perks every time.

 

or event stand for a week and 2x stars needed to get each box ,
and event are fun to play so even if it won't give me any perk i still wanna play it
