    Those are extremely high numbers even with half cool down. No chance for the lower end players to get the epic perk. Heck, they are lucky just to get the rare.

    Do you realize how many battles it takes to reach those numbers? Let's say you average 30k damage per battle (which is no easy task, especially for other ships than shooter):

    - 1m damage = 34 battles
    - 3m damage = 100 battles
    - 5m damage = 167 battles
    - 7,5m damage = 250 battles

    That's total 551 battles when you add all tiers together. Sounds cool?

    Also, rewards based on damage favor mindless spamming and suicide runs because you wouldn't have to care about winning. Just deal as much damage as you can. So in your own always salty words:

    Maybe adjust the damage amount based on your infamy at the time the event starts

    That could work but then the yellow and green boats won't be able to match up with shooters and defender (if half cool down). The devs would have to sit there and scale at least 10 infamy ranges for this to work. That's just too much work for them.

    Did you see @Sifa post? 551 battles x 4 minutes/60 = 36 hours
    Can you play 36 hours during 1 event?
    PS: can you average 30k damage? I can't.

    That would favor unskilled players with high level weapons such as the mk 5s and 6s below 1500 infamy. They would be held at the same standards as the mk1-4s that just joined and have not as good weapons.

    LOL, the OP suggestion got dissected within minutes of creating the thread. The bottom line is this idea won't work. The best and fair method is win as it's a team game. 60-65 wins for 3 days is probably ideal. There is no need to cap the cycle as those who can get the 3rd legendary perks will have to spend ton of pearls and times.

    Mk5 and mk6 should not be 1500
    I sucked at the game and i can stay around 2300 to 2500 with my mk6.. lol

    That logic of bad teammates also not a good one. Probability of the unfriends having more bad players than your is higher if you consider yourself a good one.

    I would assume all of them have to be either star, win, or games played bases. Otherwise it doesn't make it fair for lower infamy players. Damage is a cool idea, it just makes it impossible for newbies, which isn't fair.

    I'm not sure it's fair for a newbie to easily get Legendary Perks either. A damage based approach would allow them to easily get common and rare, which is more appropriate for their situation.
