Team Deathmatch - adjusting rules for respawn.

    Ok Folks,
    After a few dozen games played of Team Deathmatch, I think it's clear that an adjustment should be made to how you respawn after death. As a currently works you have invulnerability and speed boost for 8 Seconds. This puts the more aggressive team at a significant disadvantage. If the battle is being fought near one of the team's respawn points then resurrected players from that team are immediately able to fight. Players from the other team have to sail across the entire map to re-enter the battle.

    I think the best fix for this problem is that temporary invulnerability and speed should go away as soon as a player fires any weapon. The time duration of the invulnerability and speed boost should also be extended. That way players don't gain an advantage by being able to reenter a battle that is happening at the spawn location, and players are better able to reenter battles at any location on the map. It also doesn't penalize teams for immediately pushing towards the other teams' side of the map, which makes battles more fun.
    What do you guys think?

    I'm one of those people who play aggro and push straight to mid, so this will still be good for me.

    +1 i like the idea of it going away as soon as u shoot but at the same time i love the idea of tanking into the battle with invuln still on...:p

    Yeah I'm very afraid that team dm will turn into both teams turtling near starting locations, which would be terrible. Much more fun to push to middle immediately.

    Well yeah i liked your idea! +1
    well it happened to me many times that my whole team is on the other side and me Reswapn but i can't cover that distance with the Boost and when the Boost goes off! Being a Defender it takes a more time to real my teammates! So Extension of Boost timing is really needed!
    And also when i hit the wall with the Boost as you know the speed is high and you need to turn....So it takes alot of time to turn by then i lost my Boosts! So i have to suffer!

    Eh, the gamemode is still pretty new and people are figuring it out. I think it's something we can figure out on our own. It definitely feels like a battle that should be fought in the center of the map and this disadvantage you get is sort of a way to keep players from getting spawn camped.
