But, the level of item doesn't seem random at all.

 

well, that's what i am asking whats the major riding factor in terms of items in the market. Is it captain level, badge level, league you are in... etc.

 

Just speculation, but I think the amount of gold you have in storage also influenced the shop. I seem to have a higher chance of seeing a rare perk and bigger bundles of parts when I have more gold in my storage, and vise versa when I'm out of gold.

Unsure about level/badge/trophie level though

 

They obviously buy alot of pearls. People use pearls to refresh the market ALOT. more refreshes more chance to find your perks. Simple as that.

 

In my experience, captain level does influence the items in the market. When I was lvl5, the shop was full of common and uncommon parts, max 100/pc. Rare item pieces appeared few and far between. When I reached lvl 10, there were much more rare and epic parts, and in larger bundles. At lvl 20, every past shop refresh has had a rare item piece, sometimes even 2 in a single shipment. I've had like 20+ shipments in a row with item pieces.

I think that amount of gold (or at least max storage cap) doesn't influence what appears. I've had an epic perk appear which costed more than 1 mil when my max storage was just 500k. Made my mouth drop when I saw it.
