If they remove shooters from the game, that will create matches at Challenger to Ace with no shooter. Now that would be something "Never seen before".

 

A T5R does about 1k damage... thats less than blast or ExC or sniper crit. Rare needs a slight buff.

Am I the only one who does NOT want a new weapon? New green item? Sure! New yellow 2-slot? Sure! New Blue? As long as it lowers my change of getting lube, sure! New red? NO PLS NO. I have a hard enough time getting dupes as it is!

 

Swift torp has a relatively lower cooldown(it can be as low as 9s because of Sinklaire's two -5% CD talents) and decently good splash damage compared to the cannons.

This is a T5 rare blast cannon with 2 epic damage perks and full talents for it.
About 1k right.
ExC has a 14.4 second CD which is quite long, and has a smaller splash damage radius, which is why it deals more damage.
Sniper, relies on crits to do around 1.3k(rare T5) and it's highest crit chance as a rare is 37.5%.
And unlike all these cannons, it can go through Tesla Shields, and it's one of the best counters against Double bubbles because it's pretty easy to hit an enfo with one of these, and it has much smaller arming range than the other torps.
As, @Eeyore once said, a T5 epic swift torp does 1.5 or 1.6k. That's about as strong as a T5 ExC with no perks on average hit!

So, swift torp is probably something that shouldn't need a buff in a long time, and if any tweaking is needed, it should be a nerf.

I have had more battles with one of every ship on a team than no shooters on a team.

I bet they will add new item class: ultimate items.

 

If there is a bug, they have to work during weekend? IMO, they will release in the first half of the week not the second half.

 

Then they have to release it NOW or go over their promised less-than-2-weeks-from-May-4th deadline...

Was there in fact a 2-week promise from a dev? I never saw one
