Emergency Ship Items and the new Purple Slot

    Okay, so I've come up with the idea of another type of slot for ships - The Purple Slot. It will hold one of the following 4 items (I came up with 4th just now)
    *These items can only be activated once a match and only one can be chosen and it's permanent. The following items can only be use when the HP of the ship reaches a critical point. ( 20% for 1-2 and 15% for 3-4 considering how powerful they can be.)
    1.HP Tank - It does what the name suggests, gives the user a good amount of HP that can help in survival when health reaches a critical point.
    2.Speed Boost - This one will be particularly helpful for the yellow boats but anyone can choose it. This massively boosts the ship of the speed to get out a dangerous situation fast. It will work for a few seconds. (6 is good imo.) This item will provide a boost of 5x-6x of base speed.
    3.A Super Weapon - What kind of a weapon it can be shall be discussed down below but here's how it will work. When ship health is down to 15%, the player gets access to a very high damage one time use weapon.
    I feel this could be something that works like an EMP, waves of energy are launched from all angle and it hits everyone in a particular radius. Makes it safer for opponents as it is a bit easier to get away, and unlike cannons the chance to miss in normal cases is a lot lower for the user, so it fulfills the purpose.
    4.Stun Bomb - Again, this one can be very powerful if timed right, so it can be activated at only 15% HP. Kinda works like an EMP. The ship lunches a stun wave that stuns all enemy ships upto a particular radius which can be decided by devs. This is particularly helpful in emergency. Not only it can help you, but your teammates too. There needs to be restriction though to avoid consecutive use. If one player on team uses this item, another player on the same team can't use till for 10-15 seconds later. The stun can be upto 7-8 seconds and works like a tesla bolt, wears off if the player gets hit. But like all the items here, it will have to be leveled up to reach the highest stun duration.


    One thing that would be really great is that these items be kept free of rarity or duplicate requirements. Instead, each level should require a very high amount of all parts till epic category to level up. This keeps it fair enough for everyone, so players can't progress way too fast in this by paying their way up easily.
    These items provide every player the one last chance to fight back and turn the game around and these could bring a new life into the game. Share your thoughts on my ideas, post any corrections or more ideas down below and I hope you implement these, developers! :)

    But if every ship gets one slot for it ,then all ships will need 9 slots ,and then it should be only added to mk7 because upgrading to mk6 give the full power of your ship , and due to all mk6 at low league it will be too powerful because those mk6 fight against mk3,4 , but adding it to mk7 it is OK ,

    But then there is another problem , mk7 enforcer and fixer have 6 non-blue (visible on screen while battling ) slots , and adding another one will make its button really small ( unplayable) for devices that have ( small, medium , maybe a little bit more than medium too) , and maybe they can't even use that slot , or any other slot , so big devices players will have a huge advantage on other players , and devs can't balance that.

    EDIT :And also mk6,7 shooters and speeders have 5 visible slots so making it 6 slots will be a bit hard to play , i use mk6 fixer and i have tapped on the wrong button a lot of times due to small button

    i liked your idea!
    Here's what i think rather than having a slot of new weapons whic h will be extreme difficult to train our this new purple weapons! So what do we need?
    i guess a particular ship has a particular talent which a player can use once per battler or it's reload time would be 2+mins!
    for Shooter: Boost to Weapon Dmg (20% fixed) for 7-8secs
    for Defender: Boost to Blue Item + 20% dmg resistance for 7-8 sec
    for Speeder: Boost to Yellow items + 10 shield points for 7-8secs
    for Enforcer: As you see Enforcer have something like circular on it's face which rotates all the time! My idea is that thing throw a high intensity light making a ship or an area blind! like if you are hit then your screen will go while for 2-3 secs but still you can move and shoot but you won't be able to see (BLIND SHOT)
    for Fixer: 20% Boost to Green and Yellow item!

    Pitting a mk6 ship against a Mk3/4 ship is something that the developers need to look into because it is already pretty unfair, considering all the extra power from the crew.
    And if every ship has this item, it would help them stand a better chance against stronger ships imo. These items would be pretty hard to upgrade so they should stay at a level relative to the player's level. Devs can also use level barriers, Like using you can upgrade to level 10+ only after your player level is above 30. These things should help in controlling distribution of power.
    Regarding the placement of button, since this is a special item, it's button could be placed to the right of joystick. to make things easier, it would only appear when it's usable. Or it could be a button that is very slightly visible, translucent, so it does not cause distraction or get pressed until it is usable.

    Lower levels would be made easier to upgrade for higher level players so they can easily make these weapons usable in a short period of time. Also providing a dmg boost to all weapons for 7-8 seconds or any green weapon would make them very OP. Getting legendaries is a lot easier now, if someone uses a boosted legendary weapon, it is enough to knock out 2k health in a single hit with cannons, railguns would reach OHKO power. In your mentioned method, there is no control over the power that these extra boosts provide. It could be implemented if you can find a way to control the power distribution.

    You are right , but the problem isn't in matchmaking it is in those players who don't know how to play , and also because there isn't too much players ( i don't understand why it isn't popular , it is a great game) , and devs can't fix players .

    And if it will help low MK ships to have a better chance against high mk , then the same for high mk too ,

    And if it can only be leveled up to +10 after reaching Captain level 30 then only mk5,6,7 use it and that will be a disadvantage for low mk ships ( i know you just said that as an example , but in all cases if it need more than level 16 to be evolved to t2 that won't help)

    And not mentioning that it is OP , i mean if speeder will rush inside enemy team to kill a low HP ship ,then he need to take the risk , and not being able to have a higher surviving % than normal speeder has now and the same for defender and enforcer ,

    And also it gives an advantage for the ship that take more hits first , if it is in 1 vs 1 and iam below 20% my enemy has 30%then that item will help me more , and especially when both have the same ship type .

    Regarding 1v1, 1 and 2 only help you escap and survive a little longer, to get 3 and 4 you need to be below 15% health so I think that kinda makes up for it. The enemy can either avoid or get damaged/die, really depends on the situation. But if he manages to still survive, you're dead ;P
    Also, the player can only keep one of these permanently so the chosen weapon affects how it goes down.

    hey there! magnificent idea, but i would vote for the NOT-levelable version. It is too much easy to get battles between mk3 to mk6, and another item that could be unbalanced would be really too much.
    And i wouls suggest all of them to be a one-use only, easily fixed by DEPLETING you HP after use, with various effect.
    THEY ARE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE SCREEN, INSTANTLY LOADED WHEN HP DROPS DOWN 30%.
    Would put it as ORANGE EMERGENCY item (to not cause confusions with EPIC items), like this one.

    This could be the "ultimate weapon", after use, your own ship get blasted, a really "LAST RESORT". (so if you win using it, your ship explodes after "battle ended", as sometimes happen with remaining shots at end of combat) to make it balanced to all levels, just have it doing this:
    RED EMERGENCY ITEM=HELLFIRE RAILGUN: DEALS DAMAGE EQUAL TO THE TOTAL DPS OF YOUR WEAPONS x10. AFTER USE, THE DAMAGE IS DEALT TO YOU.
    (I.E. you have a cannon of 60 dps, a big torp of 200dps and a flare gun at 40 dps? this does 3000 damage. May looks terrific, but to have such weapons, you are already terrific)
    (I.E. you are a newbie with just a 25dps cannon and a 18dps sniper, this does 430 damage)

    YELLOW EMERGENCY ITEM=OVERHEAT TURBOOSTER: INCREASE SPEED AT 250% (IGNOREING SHIP LIMITS) FOR 10 SECONDS, CONSUMING 10% OF YOUR REMAINING HP PER SECOND.
    Yes, you have 10 seconds to end the battle or you get ended...


    BLUE EMERGENCY ITEM=ARMOR AMMASSMENT: INCREASE YOUR ARMOR BY 1000 POINTS TOWARDS THE NEXT 3 DAMAGES TAKEN, THEN ARMOR AND HP DROP TO 1.
    INVINCIBLE! 1...2...3...DEAD

    GREEN EMERGENCY ITEM=SACRIFICE BOLT: FULLY HEAL TARGET ALLY SHIP. THEN YOUR HP DROPS TO 0.
    DON'T MAKE ME WASTED IT...



    So, on the opposite side of where you have your items, when hp are low, appears this ultimate. You can activate them in the equipment screen (only if they match your ship colours) like "toggle ON/OFF", one active per time.
    Wise choice, wise timing, do or die...and die anyway ;)
