Change Duct Tape and OB Mechanics?

how about this, since everyone doesn’t like it when a fixer uses dictate because it’s a selfish item, let’s make it less selfish-ish

Now we all know how big the AOE (area of affect) is for a repair box right? Apply that to Ductape, except reverse it

When thefixer activates their ductape they’ll get all the healing they need from it like usual, BUUUUUT, if someone is in that tiny range, they will receive half the healing from it

Now let’s expand this idea to the yellow section for one item, the overboost
Same range and AOE as the Repair Box, but instead it increases the ships that het hit by it by half the speed, now this won’t affect other speeders who activate their ob’s and are in range. Whichever on gives them more speed will be their speed increase

Nice suggestion, that would make the general populace less salty against selfish fixers, and let em' selfish fixers...be uhm...less selfish

 

only a philosophical question: do we call overboost and nitro users of selfish because they could use tesla bolt and tesla shield in order to prevent damage on their teammates or is that just a way to make a player to feel bad about choosing to play his/ her way?

Change it back please? There was nothing wrong with it. And it doesn’t fit the entire thread now because i also talk about overboost. So please could you change it back?

 

And then nerf mortars and mines and torps ,because there are a mortars/mines/torps spammer so they are mortarish ,mineish and torpish

Don't change duct tape i use 2x pulses and a duct tape ,am i sellfish? Your suggestions is good to reduce self-protect fixers but it will effect players like me too ,
So make it a new item and don't touch my duct tape ,


If the community don't want us to use a legal item like duct tape then make repair pulse heal us by 80% because no one protect us when we are under attack.

Well wouldn’t that be fun?! That will bring defenders back. Lol. Then make it a 2 slot point item but rarely will you get another speeder like a BUNTA with tier five leggys.
