    Where are MK6 and MK7 numbers?

    There is no information given regarding MK7. There are no numbers(stats), only, "They had highest winratio, second highest usage, damage done, contribution and stars..." This is hyperbole.

    This is not a reasonable measure of performance. It doesn't tell us anything. It is quite possible the players on a losing streak on their regular boat jumped over to defender and go on a winning streak, then switch back to their regular boat. Simple things can skew results.

    You fail to explain why there is no representation of Defenders in highest area of play.

    Allow me. It's because the Defender depends on the cohesion of the team. Without competent team play, the Defender cannot climb the ranks. There is an over representation of yellow boats in top 10 because they can sustain as solo players, overcoming the shortfalls of their random teammates.

    Defenders are weak as solo players BECAUSE of the shortfalls of the boat. Face it, defense is a useless stat at high levels where huge burst damage from cannons reigns supreme.

    Take the shield perks, 150hp for the hp perk. 9 armor for the armor perk. You'd have to take 17 shots for the armor perk to be equivalent to the hp perk. Yet the high level defenders with 15k hp + aren't going to take more than 15 shots over the course of the match. Armor and defense are useless.

    Actully at the top to be more detailed. If you go turbo 3 small shield maxed 1 big shield. You can get to 22k hp but you won’t make 15 shots that’s 4 reloads. It’s impossible. If you make 9 shoots you are really in a good place. Most def can’t finish there 6 shot at NM league.

    Bang on. These statistics completely fail to illustrate the story of how Defenders are "balanced". Maybe for the general population in lower leagues, but in Nightmare league play it is clearly not the case!

    I don't call that cowardly, I call that incompetent when all you do is sit back and lob torps and mortars from halfway across the map and hit maybe 1% of your shots because you have no concept of how aiming works in this game.

    Well I feel kind of the same.
    I have been playing this game for almost a year.
    I use a MK6 Shooter lvl 42 with 7545 strength, have a few epics, I have 7830 battles and not a single legendary weapon.
    I just got crushed by a dude with 2k battles lvl 30, are you f^#%@ kidding me. He had 3 legendary weapons.
    C'mon developers make it more even. Specially for the people who have been playing longer.
    And also something for you to consider with the points for the quests it should be points you get per battle, not everytime you win a battle, getting points only if you win is BS.
    Give more legendary weapons. make it even.
    People get tired of lower level guys with serious fire power, reward the players who have been playing longer.

    I’ve been feeling that a lot more lately. I’ve had 2 Star Defeats - 16,000 damage, while trying to quest, and it’s all for nothing.

    On the other hand though... when I’m running my rare 5x boosts, it would kind of suck to have to waste them on defeats where I ‘probably’ don’t do as well.

    The reason is people would prioritize guild quests over winning and it would hurt the overall game.

    Let's say you are stuck on a standard cannon guild quest. Why not just run 4 crappy standard cannons on shooter and just keep rushing fleets. Who cares if you lose, youre adding points to the quest box. Would you like to be matched with people who play this way?

    You are right, we have been making subjective comments. But it has been consistent across the board. The defenders have made numerous complaints about getting hit by torpedoes and projectiles that were clearly outside of our graphic. Granted in my case it was a rare occurrence. I have been watching for this for two weeks to get video evidence and am starting to question my own sanity.

    I complain about shooting speeders immediately in front of me and scoring no damage despite seeing the visual animation of the projectile breaking on their ship. (This issue was improved but not eradicated in the last update) Is it not possible that the two issues are somehow related?

    The server predicts the location of the boat, the user fires at the last second, but the target has moved and therefore I miss the speeder.
    Flip it for the torpedo, the user sees the torpedo coming, makes a last second turn driving out of the way, but the server's predicted path of the torpedo has already impacted the boat.

    Look, I can use your data to further the gimp defender narrative.

    Highest win ratio... Defender users get fed up with playing the ship with an infamy ceiling and start trying other ships. They fail because they are unsuccessful at adapting to a new play style and loadout. They drag down the win ratio of these other ships and return to their trusty defender to climb back up the ranks thereby inflating the boat's win ratio.

    Second highest damage done and contributions/stars... Great if true. Why is the ship with the second highest damage and contribution score NOT at all represented in the Nightmare season top 10, and with a slim count of representation in the top 200? There is an issue with the ship at the highest level of play.

    Just want to start by saying I think people are looking at ships "balance" factor wrong. Each ship has a certain play style that if executed correctly will help contribute to winning the match. So you can't really compare them evenly across the board. You should first look at the items you have and how you prefer to play.

    For the longest time I played shooter, basically from the get go. I've tried out each ship (All are mk5) but recently switched to defender. One day my guild had a Defender 3500 win quest that I decided to help out on. Over two days of playing my infamy rose from 2500 up to 3100. At first I though gosh I must be lucky, this matchmaking system is just broken. Then after the quest was done I went back to playing shooter and over the next week started to fall down again in infamy all the way to 2400.

    That's when I realized my play style fits DEFENDER so well. I like getting crits on my cannons and I'm really good at leading shots. I'm a leader and like to charge, which sometimes means I'm out of position and get punished for it. On defender I get 3k+ more hp and to be frank when other boats see I'm a defender they sometimes don't even bother targeting me.

    Here is my current setup, which to be honest, isn't even that good. Still lacking duplicates for epic Big/Small shield.

    I think that was more of a danger with the old quest system, but now that you can use any weapon to quest there is less incentive to use underpowered stuff.

    If people aren’t using the specific quest weapons, then it’s safe to assume they are using their best stuff, so there is little reason to discount thier rewards. If people are using the quest weapon (or using boosts), and they lose, then perhaps it would be enough to just remove the multiplier.

    I've got an attitude about this issue because for so long our words have been swept under the rug.

    Maybe you guys are making the wrong questions/ assumptions, maybe the right questions would be why there are so few defenders amongst the top 200 players? Since Miika already proved the defenders are performing well bellow that level of competition what could allow defenders to figure on top of the game? Is it that the last part of crew training gives other boats a better improvement? Is that playtime of its users? If that's the case, what could it become more attractive for the players who spend more time on this game without discharacterizing its essence nor leaving it overpower?

    Cherry-picked data to justify doing nothing.

    First of all, the win/loss ratio of all boats is going to be very close to 50% due to the system you have set up. So holding up a non-material difference that blipped up for one season at one boat MK... clear indication you're reaching.

    If you want to provide some actual data instead of this BS, give the actual relevant data: Boat/MK/Gear Score vs Infamy.

    It's very interesting that you seem reluctant to give the actual data which would be meaningful. Instead you just pop up, throw out some crap stats, then disappear having muddied the waters for those who don't know any better than to accept the vague wording of a casino operator.

    The questions/assumptions have already been answered as you hit the higher tier defender isn’t substaniable due to its large hit box being unmissable with top tier weapons, hp isn’t a issue. It has no way of escape so is a sitting duck. Defenders generally are targeted first because unfortunately it’s a easy kill.

    I think at nightmare, yellow ships are better than defender. U can check the leader board of the top 50, yellow ships dominate the board. But defender will gain more sugar and gold at ur infamy, i tried to play defender and speeder both at around 3500. More hp increases the benefits directly. Also, fleet with a fixer helps a lot to win. Anyway, switching to another ship is a good idea, just save items slowly. Have fun bro

    Ok somebody mentioned that they made some hits on the speeders and nothing happened.
    I agreee on that i just finished a match and I clearly landed some hits on the speeders and didnt do anything
