Speeders need to dominate the Bay

Honestly, Speeder was the ship making this game interesting. Just remember all the best battles you remember - I'm pretty sure almost all of them had speeder includes.

It was always fun when everybody was dead and there was speeder 1v1 or speeder vs any other type of ship. Everybody was watching, dying to know what will the speeder do, what move he's gonna make.

Nowadays, Enforcer domination top 50, Shooter everything below that, is not that exciting. Who would watch Shooter 1v1??
Also Enforcer is not a good replacement for Speeder.

We all know the game won't ever be perfectly balanced, it will always have its dominating ship.

Make the speeder fun again!! That's all what was on my mind now. Thanks for reading.

 

So you're saying that it's good if speeders are OP but it's not when enforcers and shooters are OP? That doesn't seem very logical to me.

 

I think speeders suffer a lot because now an enforcer using 2 blast - flare can easily win a 1vs1 because all those Tesla shields, speeders have 2 weapons, if you waste a shot on breaking the shield, then you only have 1 weapon available and for those who use flare explo or blast, not having 1 weapon means that your combo is gone. Enforcer I’m not saying it’s bad, but it doesn’t need a nerf itself, the only think it needs a “nerf” or to be worked on is the 2 tesla shield combo, for all of those here who play Fortnite (I don’t really do but sometimes I do play) it’s similar to the double pump-action shotguns, everyone using it was Op, now, people have to search for alternatives.

 

I know, but making speeders OP is not the solution. The world #1 is already a speeder (last I checked)

Uhm no. If you'd read carefully, you'd understand. Speeder being OP gave the game little bit of excitement.
Don't you miss the old videos of YSL, T Pro, Kenzer or Bunta?
Don't you miss watching speeder 1v1 at the end of battles?

Never wrote it's good, it's as bad as Enforcer being OP, but it was at least more exciting and fun.

 

But the game is not balanced now.

 

The title is misleading, I was writing it very late sorry.
Didn't want to make speeder op, but to make it interesting to play again, so those people and many more would come back to it.

 

Why not defenders to shine for a month or so?every1 says"f...k off defender,we dont want u"why not for a single time,the defender to get a buff?is it so hard to accept the big blue boat?(and im sorrry if i offend some1,but watching how speders loop around and stun themselves aint interesting for me,it was the same for way 2 long time,enforsers now are just,the god ship,)also wouldnt be interesting to see how defenders ram onto each other?

I agree defenders now days very few to be seen on the bay. I guess it's dropping it usage rate day by day maybe I don't know sure.

If it's as bad as enforcers being OP, then why do you support speeders being OP? The point of the game is not to make interesting videos and get more subscribers on youtube while unbalancing the game to ruin the other players' experiences.

If it's interesting enough that many people will come back to it then it probably means that it's OP. The two go hand in hand most of the time.

 

I think I agree with you in 1 thing:
- Enforcer metas (Double TS + Grenade/Blast/Mine or Double TS + Flare/DoubleBlast) are boring to play against and to watch playing (maybe even to play with). But IMO the reason is that these setups are significantly overused.

I remember frost torp before nerf, it was damn boring to play BB because of it. Frost+Torp was way more OP than this 2 setups tough.
The point is that overused or OP (or both) "Metas" make the game less interesting.

I think top speeders were more interesting to watch because of the variety of setups speeders used. The OPness of T.bolt had something to do there.

The real problem is that some nerfs to Metas have been too harsh, so other metas emerge and control the bay taking advantage of the hole the nerf opened. However imo nerfing metas is the best way to balance ships and weapons, not the only one tough.
