    I personally am a really big fan of std cannon , so gotta go with the first option.
    I am very flexible with weapons though:D

    I personally value burst damage and splash definitely is a plus, the DPS can be lower but splash and burst potential is what consistently gets kills imo. And it's more intimidating!

    I get hit by way too many Explosive Cannons when I'm in my bubble and it hits my teammate or a wall. Also, another bonus for the EC... if you stun somebody and then only hit them with the splash damage, I don't believe it removes the stun.
