Ultimate abilities

Hello everyone,

What I'm about to say might sound very idiotic and/or game breaking if implemented.

So it goes like

I don't know how many here have played games like overwatch and paladins. There's something called ultimate abilities or more commonly known as "ults".

What if we had ship specific ults in Battle Bay? Say it can only be used once a game or it recharges over a long period or time, say 1 or 2 minutes, or say it has a charge meter which charges based on shots hit or something like that.

My ideas include

1. An instant cooldown for shooters. It's an ability that allows you to reset cooldown of everything, including global cooldown.

2. A special limited time shield (like Tesla shield but bigger and can't help teammates) for defenders, say it gives the defender 1/4th of his full HP as added shield for next 10 seconds. This shield however can't help teammates, because it's not a bubble like the Tesla shield. And this shield also saves against splash damage like torps and mortars.

3. Super nitro for speeder. Say it allows you to be invulnerable while moving forward with this Nitro, but it only boosts you in a straight line.

4. Super overboost for enforcer. Allows the enforcer to move at speeder with overboost speeds but with much less turret and ship agility while it is active. It stays active for say 10 seconds once activated.

5. Super pulse for fixer. It is a combination of pulse and duct tape, it heals the fixer for same amount as it heals for teammates, but it heals teammates in a very short radius. It should activate for 10 seconds and it's heals should be better than duct tapes (maybe?).

The number of uses per match is still not sure and the cooldown also needs to be balanced accordingly if allowed to use more than once per match.

How about Barrier. Huge Tesla Shield as big as std mortar AOE. Absobs damage

I'll just request ship bumping to unfriends causing 5% of your max hp as damage to the bumped enemy ship but u take half of that damage to yourself

The laat thing shooters need is less cool down.

If anything these ults are organized wrong and too litarally. A boat is called shooter. So therefore is should get less cool down?

Nope.

The boat that actually needs less cool down is the Defender.

A miss named boat who neither defends. Or doesnt have enough h.p. to charge consistently.

So my point here is although ults can be cool.

If one goes this way. defender will be screwed.

Might as well delete the boat from the game.

A counter point... if a player can choose his or her own ult. Then its a good idea.

But nor because
Not some random decision to make shooters shoot faster because red boats were called shooters.

Or make speeders go faster because they were called speeders.

By this logic. The 2 boats. Most likely to be rocked by this ult is the Enforcer and the Dedender.
Both boats have names picked at random. With not clearly defined atributes.

Except currently enforcer is a better boat then defender. Because of latest enforcer buffs, and nerf to items that hurt enforcers.

So again please dont do ults. Unless it can be universally applied and only chosen out of a list of attributes for a player to choose from.

I like @*JAWS* idea about being able to choose Ultimates..
Some Ultimates Ideas from me.
Instant Heal- repair some health intantly.

Shadow Clones- Ship will multiply into three, one will be real other two dummy. After multiplication your position will be set randomly, let the enemy guess.

Rebirth- teleported back to spawn but lose some health.

Ninja Mode- increased speed and agility for small duration while decrese all weapona ranges by half.
