Forums should have different subforums for different Leagues.

    See title.

    Some topic does not apply to higher leagues and vice versa which sometimes causes clash of ideas. Having a subforum will make the discussion better and questions will hit the target audience easier.

    Or if it's not possible to create a subforum, each Thread title should be required to put something like "[Ace League]Title Thread" as long as it is relevant to the topic.

    I agree. Segregation is important so I don't have to talk to players beneath me.

    Possible yes, desired perhaps not. We don't want to shatter the forum into fifty different sub-forums for [League][Ship Class][Playstyle] because then it would be confusing for newcomers as well as veterans, since some of us like to weigh in on different threads. (And let's not talk about how not-fun that would be to moderate!)

    It's true that "one size does not fit all" when it comes to dispensing advice, but that can simply be rectified with a little bit of forum etiquette. If veteran posters reply to requests for help with politely worded posts like "Please attach a screenshot of your ship loadout and inventory, so that we can see your league and equipment and offer appropriate advice" then over time the forum behavior shifts to where it becomes the norm, and members will start attaching them as a habit. Users putting "tags" in their title similar to [League][Class] could also be encouraged.

    Aww okay. I guess title tagging is the best way to go. Can you request that to be a new rule? I know you guys can edit title and it's extra work for you but it's all for the betterment of the forums.

    Yep you are right, that's for General Discussion. But some issues or questions are only applicable for some League. Anyway, Chris has spoken, just need them to take a look at this suggestion. That's all I needed.

    *nod* Once I realized the problem I try to include the relevant info in my posts, eg: "Down where I play at 2k infamy....." The flip side of that is realizing that when people post their experience it's at a certain infamy range and often times that is why they said something so "obviously ridiculous" -- it was true in their infamy range.
