    @CaffeinatedChris @Ash KOT @Reboot @The Grim Repair @TheAntiSnipe

Please lock all new threads created on any further from now on!

    1) Enfo double bubble nerf
    2) defender buff
    3) speeder rebuff
    4) sniper nerf

I would like to be clear here, i m not against any of those ideas! But its like everyone creating a new thread so their ideas get more attention ... This kind of threads bury all the good ideas and threads(like matchmaking balance for beginners thread Evilchicken created)..

Looking at past forum threads it just makes me feel like its not what it used to be... There is buff and nerf whining every where.. I m ready to get hit by OP weapons, but this B. S. Threads should end now!

    No thanks.

Devs please dont lock all threads on these subjects.

Unless action is made on these subjects... more and more players will feel unheard.

If you want zero buff defender threads devs...
Make a forum post that says simply. We are buffing defenders. And will lock future threads on it.

    But until then.

    Communication = respect.

And rovio number one rule is be respectful.

I highly doubt ending free speech is respectful.

Did you even read what i said, i m not against buff or those threads.(only the new threads should be prevented) .. Why can't you segregate your ideas in one single thread? Creat 6 freaking thread about same topic is not some we do on forums...

Forum are not for spamming personal requests!

I'm happy to merge threads that have productive, polite and reasonable discussion into one place to collect and organize player feedback and overall sentiments of the community. If they stand on their own merits and make a particularly strong case then it's certainly reasonable to leave it alone entirely. I absolutely don't want to shut down useful debates, even if they do get "passionate" at times.

However, threads that start as or rapidly devolve into name-calling and shouting matches get locked up. No one, player or dev, gets anything of value from a bunch of insults and mudslinging.

I never asked "shut down", but if possible just lock new threads created in future on the topic and post the link of general thread in Lock message

I did read. But considering I don' regulate or moderate forum post. Not my job. Just a player.

Your concept seems to think I have something to do with multple threads. Sorry dont.

And I don't believe in restricting communication from our community.

If someone feels inspired to make a thread. So be it.

Suggestion. Next time someone does a duplicate. Don't read it.

    Not your job either.

Until changes are done I think people should be able to complain.

As @CaffeinatedChris said, threads that start as or rapidly devolve into name-calling and shouting matches get locked up. I WILL NOT lock a thread without good reason. "Oh look, a nerf speeder thread. Let me see what this dude has to say. Oh, he has a point! BUT this thread is starting to get messy, with a lot of players calling names. Okay, then, time to warn the participants to be constructive, rather than salty. Didn't work, locking it down."

This is my usual line of thought when encountering those threads. I may also recommend the original thread if I can find it. However, blatant censorship of threads just because they have been discussed before is not at all constructive to good communication, so I'm afraid I'll have to disagree here.

I didn't ask to lock the threads which already exists..... But block the dupes created in future
I'll give you a good reason for locking The duplicate threads in future. Screenshot_20180318-163626~2.png
These the rules of forums, you need to read them.. Have you found any useful thread except some players who actually care about the game most of them are involved in buff nerf wars

Keep your philosophy aside, i know you have deleted lot of my replies without any appropriate reasons. READ THE RULES AND FOLLOW IT, BECAUSE I M NOT OBLIGED TO FOLLOW THE RULES IF YOU AS MVP/CREW AREN'T .

1 OR 2 duplicates thread is ok! But more than 4 is ridiculous...

But.. but.. how will the people know that I don't suck and it's totally Rovios fault that I can't win!?

Kidding aside, I like the idea. Just do a compilation thread and sticky it so it automatically appears at the top.

Do something like "Weekly matchmaking complaint thread", all posts related to matchmaking goes here.

    Don't lock complaints

Keep them open but move them to one common thread.

ONLY the complaints. If it gets to name calling, please delete the posts and ban the name callers instead of locking threads.

A lot of us put in efforts to discuss only to have it wasted by some sharp thumbed short tempered teenager. @TheAntiSnipe @CaffeinatedChris

The issue we face is this: Even if a thread does devolve into namecalling, it might have a lot of valuable content. In those cases, we edit out the profanity and delete messages if need be. Oh, and we can also issue gag orders to namecallers should the situation present itself.

All in all, okay. We get it. #NoLocks

In my opinion, keeping feedback on some topic in a single feedback thread should only be done if that topic is really flooding the forums, such as a big change after a patch. In most other cases, I'm against such a "sticky-based" approach. Let people make new threads, and let old or bad ones fade to 2nd page and beyond. That's the way forums should work. Yes, it means stuff will be said that was already said, but you can't prevent that anyway. If all defender buff threads were merged into one, nobody would read the dozens of pages of old posts before posting something.

You really believe people read before posting now?. Putting it all in 1 thread would only make it easier for them to do so, not harder.
Yes it'll also make it easier to ignore but the people who are gonna ignore will ignore irrespective of whether you put it all in 1 place or multiple places.
