If I remember correctly, they do this in Path of Exile. They even create Legendary weapons based on player's idea and never forget to credit the players.

Pinning means that the thread is considered of enough importance not to be "buried" by other threads as time passes. If a thread is not pinned, you have to "bump" it to get it to the top of the discussion section so that everyone can read conveniently;)

    In the spirit of fairness.
I believe the developers do mean well.

Some of the communities ideas do get implemented. Such as which weapons to nerf. Guild trophies, in guild fleet options etc. Even the new option to get legendary weapons. Should be applauded. Well done devs.

    Now whats lacking...
The community has many suggestions on bugs, and boat imballance fixes. The developers response is we are working on it. But then fixes are months n months and counting. Or non exitent.

    Below...

Ie. Critical chance on repair box for 50% never been fixed. 6months at least.

Flare vs tesla shield issue. Not resolved. 2 months.

Defender balance to other ships not close to a priority. Community agrees this boat need big buff. 5 months.

Fixing frost back to a usable leve, it got nerfed way to far...4 months.

Fixing of bhurt training tree to move more of sniper critical chance to later ie tier 4 and tier 5. Over 6 months.

Double Tesla Shield usage getting Op for enforcers. 2 months.

Making ex cannon cool down equal to big torpedo. 2 months.

When these simple bugs or fixes or balancing issues get shelved for 2 to 6 months. It frustrates the community.
We are the test subjects and the first line of stress testing the theoretical into real life.

Most assume then the developers arent listening.

I can say that they are listening.

But that their focus isnt on these issues.

So one can assume then that there will be new content in future updates...maybe new mk.8 boats, maps, weapons, or even a new boat.

I applaud Developers for the new content....
But, please Devs. Dont neglect the above much needed fixes. And dont back burner them.
Our community has spoken. Please help implement.
Just like the Little Prince book says. What you tame, you are responsible for.
We the community await your tending to these. Time investment is key to it. ....Boabab trees of frustration and discontent from community grows with issues that prolong for months on end.
    Kindest regards,
    Jaws.

This game works on code. Just a few lines of code can take a minute or two, so imagine a big fat update. Hours. Days. Weeks. Months. These things take time. They can't throw everything we say into the updates, guys. To make these updates in a few days or weeks, they would have to deprive themselves of sleep, type at the speed of light, and more. Patience is key.

Dude. I will say this once. This a forum free for expression. Since this post is about the developers. And do they listen to us. Your comment. Is very much not appreciated. The stifling and chiding of players communicating to devs isn't accepted here. And against forum rules. Suggestion to u. Move on. Or get reported.

Follow forum rules at all times. This all I will say in this regard in order to respectfully say. Stop trying to end our communication with devs. This isn't about u. It isn't about me. Its about freedom of ideas. And expression thru writing. To our developers.

    Move on.

I'm not trying to end comm with devs, I'm just saying that people should stop telling the devs to hurry up. I do agree that some fixes have taken a while, but EVERYONE telling them to hurry up is just wrong.

They listen. I know. People complain the don't do stuff fast enough. See my above post to see why they can't do it in 2 weeks

No one ever mentioned 2 weeks. Thats why your post came off wrong.

Example. My post mentioned items that having taken 6+months. That devs have responded to saying they are broken. And still not fixed. 2months was the shortest item on my list.

So ... read forums thouroughly next time. Not just this post. But other post. The original poster who started this had asked devs for help for months and months. Multiple people have similar stories. This isnt a coding issue.

This is a roll the sleeves up and pull the roots issue. Thus why I quoted the Little Prince.

Not pulling these roots has lead to a post by community do developers care and respond and apply our ideas....like this one.

It creates a lack of trust from community.

Developers obviously dont have to do everything posters suggest. But when its on items they have already responded to. Critical chance 50 percent on repair box for instance. 6 +months. And still not fixed.
    Not a community issue anymore.

So again. Let the developers read. This isnt about coding. Its about as nike would say. "Just do it"
