Sniper canon and Blast canon

Is it a good combo to use both sniper canon and blast canon..?

Ship is Mk5 with snipe, blast, swift torpedo, berta and railgun..

I got this doubt bcz there is a clash in training tree of bhurt and we cannot use each of the weapon to its at most potential if we are using them both..

I am using snipe for the excellent critic damage and range, while blast provides me with tons of normal damage.. I kind of mastered blast canon like I can jst know the projectile speed every time I hit it..

Which of these can be swapped for a standard mortar.. If have to..

 

Sniper all day. Use sniper cannon. Blast is good too but you have to ditch sniper for it too many conflicting talents. Try sniper sniper swift railgun and firebomb( op weapon set) or you can swap railgun for EC or missiles.

 

Keep in mind the future of the bay.

More players complain and ask developers for Sniper nerfs than any other weapon.
So if I were betting. Sniper will be nerfed.

70 percent chance of this.

Plan accordingly.

Don’t... Idk you’re level but when you start entering the +3000 and mk6 you’d wish you had a explosive cannon instead of the blast.
Explo is becoming the new snipper in +3500... thanks to the great balancing of the game. It was overpowered and is still overpowered.

 

Am a Mk5 with around 2k infamy.. I still have no plans on developing an Explosive canon.. But am eager to know about it's potential.. I only know that it's projectile speed is slower than the blast canon and it provides u with area damage than single target..

The range got nerfed it has the same range as blast. Only difference is splash damage. Bc is still way easier to use.

 

Feel the same here.. Its easy to use and hit..

 

sniper is good with perks like high chance to critical damage

 

No EC and BC both have same range(basic i.e 22 after talents 24.2) with better projectile speed on blast.
In 40 secs you can shoot blast 3 times while EC just 2( considering global cool down).

As a shooter you are faced with the touch decision of deciding what major cannon to focus on. Sniper cannon does awesome damage but the crit chance isn’t always there. In the end, explosive cannon does the most damage.

If you fully upgrade ex cannon, and add on these perks

Fire increase damage perk x2
Crit chance perk
20% extra crit damage

With a perfect shot with this setup, you can get up to and pass 4000 damage by critting a burning target.

After that

You must choose one mortar

One heavy weapon, torpedo, mine, missile launcher, tri torp

Definelty get a railgun

And maybe even add on a grenade

You can also decide on whether you want to get a fire damage weapon or not

This is how shooter is supposed to be setup
Obviously it isn’t and I’m glad it’s not because shooters in this game do a better job with cannons and not mortars.

And don’t forget, double of the same weapon is awesome!
