Multiple shots and hits to unfriend but they aren't taking any damage with the new battle bay updat

Although I clearly hit my enemy with more then one weapon they do not take any damages in a single game. I don't know in how many games after this error happens but I can at least see this error in a gap of 2 to 4 days regularly. Its so frustrating that most of time I get destroyed in close calls. I have noticed that this mostly happens when I am hitting the enemy with my explosive cannon and sniper from short distance. They don't take any damages even if I hit my enemy with two weapons one after another. I see this problem frequently after the new game update.
