Hey there, im a fairly new player, logging in daily and trying to level crew as fast a s possible.
I was doing really well at the start and getting lots of kills, then i kept winning even tho i wasnt getting the kills. At 1st it was fin to push to see how high my infamy could go, but now its not fun.
i am lvl 14 with mk2 boats. my best gun is a lvl 12 rare blast cannon that does 301 dmg. my boats have 1500- 2000 hp. My infamy is 1260.
I have to fight against 80% mk 4-5 boats with the odd mk 2-3. they have 5k hp +
In the last 16 battles i have 13 wins and 3 loss. During those fights i have only attained 1/0 star rating, and have a total of 2 kills.
Im doing nothing but decoy, and 500- 1500 dmg. and my team keeps winning.
My k/d ratio is getting destroyed, and getting 1 shot by cannons is getting pretty lame.
i dont want to full afk greif to lose infamy, but the system right now seems broken... i should not be facing lvl 30 + accounts with all the crew bonuses, lvl 30+ weapons and 5k plus hp. I dont know how my team keeps winning, if im getting lucky with op team mates or if the other team want to kill my low hp boat so bad that they are getting out of position, idk, but either way i feel un-competitive and not having fun.

Bro chill out the ratio will eventually go down sooner or later at the start everone have about 1+ ratio but as we go high up the ratio will come down to less than 1 and around 0.7 and as for the infamy are u serious 1200 with an mk2 u should better get low under 1k since ur boat is not fit for 1k infamy and as for the wins i think u will start lossing and will have a lossing streak since the game somehow follows the 50/50 win/loss ratio

Yup... happened to me too. Eventually I figured out that I needed to NOT get into master league (1300 infamy) and in general I needed to manage my infamy to keep it in more reasonable ranges. I hate throwing matches. What worked better for me was simply to play more casually... take chances I wouldn't have if I was being more serious, just be less focused in general, etc. My infamy would fall down to some new lower set point then stay there (more or less) as long as I continue to play at that level. Even better, since my (artificial) skill level corresponds with the matches I'd win a fair smattering of top 3 finishes among the pack. I wasn't ruining anyone's game experience who belonged at that level because I was, in fact, playing at their level.

Insofar as what happened to you, I catch waves (in both directions) too -- and they scare me when they are upwards. I'm pretty sure they correspond to times of day. Around late afternoon my time I get much better teams. In the early morning hours the teams are way, WAY worse. People also tend to get more focused towards the end of the season when many are done with the guild quests for now and want to push their infamy.

Man, I'm just shaking my head at your enforcer. You must just love the enemy M4 and M5 speeders. Your HP is probably low enough that I could just pluck you out from among your team and there's little anyone could do about it.

For now this is just the way Battle Bay is. I tolerate it because I like the combats is so much fun within appropriate infamy ranges. Based on the last patch, the devs are working on it.
