Is this a bug? What do I only have 1/3 of the supposed income?

I am 3500 infamy last season but starting from this season my highest infamy is 2830? Why do I receive heavy penalty from the game? This is not fair I have highest damage in the team but receive no star and 1/3 of the supposed gold and sugar.

 

You just crossed into the tanker territory, ie, dropped more than 800 below your career highest infamy. The system doesn't take into account current season infamy.

Calculating infamy from the career highest prevents deliberate tanking as players can drop leagues by scoring lower in their current league and moving down the infamy ladder one season at a time.

Although in your case the infamy drop may not be intentional but the system will continue to give out low rewards until you get back into the 800 range of your career highest infamy.

 

All of which is an excellent reason to tank. You can bet I manage my career high infamy quite carefully. I had hoped the penalty box wasn't permanent but apparently it is so I'll just have to ensure that -800 from my career high remains in "easy" territory.

 

Its not an excuse to tank friend. For me 800 from my career high remains in the easy territory by default. The reason being I never tank infamy and I always try to push up as much as I can while trying to understand the game play at a given level. What weapons are most prominent and what can I do to maximize my contribution. And usually I can never cross beyond a certain point until I have better gear or better skills no matter how much I try and that is the point of my career highest infamy.

Tanker territory as an excuse for tanking? Nope. Not for me. If you are good enough to get your career high score, you have the skills to keep your infamy above the 800 drop range. And your career high should keep going up as you acquire more skill and experience which is kind of the main objective. Keep pushing the limits and hold out as long as you can.

Deliberate tanking is a nuisance for all the players who are actually trying to get better or playing to get out of that tanking zone. OP has been labeled as tanker but if everyone goes by your concept then OP could just as well invent a new game than try to get out of this situation if there are more players who deliberately tank at his level.

 

Would like to know why there are players with 500-150 (mk5/6) playing with 2000~ infamy players.. Had they been punished or something like that?

 

Their all-time high is in that 2000~ range so they're forced to continue playing with those players. I recently inadvertently dropped very low below my season high earlier, by like 1500 infamy, and I was still playing with people between 2400-3000 infamy. Made it tough to get back up.
