    As the title says.

Everybody is forced to play new builds/new sship in order to complete guild quests and I'm getting sick of it.

Went from 3700 to 3200 in the last two days. Reason?

Either I have a MK3-4 ship in my team, or a shooter who dies in first 30 seconds (how is that even possible), and people playing stupid builds.. it's like in my teams I'm the only one trying to win.

Yes, I totally agree. I miss the days without guild quests. I wish no guild quests in the next update. It’s only frustrating and not fun any more. Devs have forced us to play with weapons and ships that we don’t want . We get bad teams. Much more frustrating than before. Maybe we need a petition for that?

Exactly.. right now this happened to me.. battle started, we had fixer they didn't (ergo we should play more defensively).. on one Shooter MK5 with the least health went to rush and spammed napalm launcher.. obviously he got destroyed and we lost.

    Pretty fair.

I agree with you, but with out guild quest we wouldn’t have all those extra resources we get from the lottery. Also, guilds have something to look up to. Personally, my guild is really fun, everyone is close friends and it’s pretty fun.

Maybe they could balance it by chaging the type of challenges. Less boat/weapon challenges and more total damage/stars/boat destroyed, and also add new ones like distance traveled/double kills/triple kills/quad kills/splash damage...

That is exactly the problem. The issue is that the guild quests reward crappy play and poor builds. They encourage tanking. Personally, I think the quests are WAY too rewarding... at least the easy board is.

I wonder what a person with a M3 is even doing in a 3200 infamy battle. You have to win in order to score any quest points. That behavior seems more reasonable down at the 0-1000 range.

I've seen a nightmnig league player with mk4, mk3 ships in 3000+ infamy, mk4 fleets etc. It's demotivating. On the other side you get punished if you drop your infamy!?! Doesn't make sense at all.
Also, I am a fixer. For fixer, guild quques is too hard. There is not much we can do. It's another disadvantage for fixer. :(

The issues stem from the player base, not the guild quests. Nobody is forcing anyone to complete guild quests that they aren't capable of completing. The addition of the guild raffle simply gave greedy players a reason to suck at the game. Personally, I ignore quests I feel would cripple my gameplay. However, I think this issue would be solved by a previous suggestion: removal of weapon/ship specific quests and the addition of quests involving the new Battle Medal system (Nice Shot! Last Stand! etc)

I'm currently playing in the 1200-1500 range and enjoy questing a lot. Guild questing showed me how much I enjoy the Big Torpedo, which is now my favorite weapon on the Fixer. I agree that some of the builds are garbage when you maximize for questing, but I don't find dropping infamy is really that big of a deal. I recently upgraded to Mk3, but my infamy as a Mk2 Fixer would fluctuate wildly between 700 and 1600 due to questing. Figure out what your "optimal" loadout is, and if it's really as good as you think it is, you'll stay near your infamy peak, and as long as you reach your infamy peak once a season to maintain your ranking, aren't day-to-day infamy fluctuations are pretty meaningless?
