At my limits ! devs check my account

Ok so i have posted about this early and people said weapon drop is all RNG but now its becoming 5 months and i still cant find a dupe for my lv10 rare flare gun im a speeder so that weapon is important i lost a lot of my infamy thx to this lv 10 rare flare gun and the fun part is i dont have any other spare 1 slots.To be honest i think my account has a bug i am at limit of my patience .My tag #CTBYRGTH. If devs can take a little bit of time to check my account i will appreciate it . Mvps dont lock this until i get a solid reply .nearly 5 months of waiting is a long time .Understand my situvation

 

I feel your pain, in 8 months I've gotten one rare turbo.

 

How many battles have you had? It's hard to get epic dupes until like level 30.

 

He's talking about rare dupes, not epic dupes.

Lol i got around 5 in just a span of 2 months but the turbo is really hard to get

 

Have been waiting sice lvl 22 for my third rare turbo. Finally got it at lvl 31.
Now im waiting for carronade but it never come. Is just luck.

 

You don't need a dev to repeat the same message. RNG is random so sometimes it may take a looong time to get what you're looking for. But sometimes you might get lucky and get two of them in the same day. Thing is, you never know in this game.

Yeah it’s just RNG, there is no conspiracy.

 

Once I got 4 rare turbos in a few weeks, but then I got 2 epic turbos so I never leveled them

I've been playing for about 9 months, 7,000 battles, and have yet to receive an epic turbo or overboost. It happens.

 

I see two problems here:

The first is "meta". Players devise "best builds" for a given boat and other plays , predictably, want to emulate those best builds. So suddenly the lack of a <xxx> seems like a crucial problem when in fact numerous other choices would've been almost as good (and some of them better as new, undiscovered metas). This is simply a mismatch between the mindset of the developers (which is that you should build with what you have) and the mindset of players (I want "the best"). In the case of the OP, is flare really a required weapon? Surely there are a wide variety of other weapons which could be mounted which would also work.

The second problem is when you get to something like turbo. That item is not really optional in this game. Having a good turbo changes the fundamental nature of the play all by itself. In my opinion this is more a problem with turbo being too powerful than RNG. On my M4 speeder I only had 1 rare small shield so I swapped out with epic bandages instead. But what, exactly, would I use to replace "no turbo"? RNG systems fail spectacularly when the players, rightly or wrongly, decide that any particular item is "mandatory".
