Well the thing is, just because it might increase the performance of the fixer doesn't mean it makes the team stronger. The team is depending on the fixer to heal it, so they may take more risks and get creamed. And all the extra ductapes and weapons and items lead to you having to wait through more cooldowns to attack if you were a speeder or something. Interesting idea though

 

Met that ductape fixer for the 1st time, it was kinda cool to see new stuff

 

also its really sad, some people are just waiting to insult him, how depressing

I don't have a problem with selfish fixers aka 3 tape fixers except they should change there name to include selfish fixers so that other team mates don't look upto them for help and secondly it's a weak build with no good options to run away( like speeders one yellow item is not enough) and not high amount of health to take constant dmg like defender ( duct tape takes time to regenerate health ).

You play around and swap between these items until you find the balance you like. It is a very versatile ship that can fit many role.

Lel I'm one of them

 

For a bit it was a problem trying to figure out what sort of fixer you had. But in the last few weeks or so it seems almost every non-selfish fixer fires off some pulses and bolts in the beginning to I can adjust my strategy accordingly.

Also worth noting that a "selfish fixer" just did a fine job fixing me up so I could return to the fight. Sure I had to loiter around for 2 healing pulses but it wasn't like he was totally selfish.

 

Please don't refer to any fixer carrying anything besides 3 duct taped as selfish.

 

Well, he ran his boat like a selfish fixer. He was hardcore offense. So call it what you want but it clearly wasn't his primary focus to keep me alive.

 

That is not selfish, most nightmare fixers out dps the team naturally. There is a huge difference between doing alot of dmg and healing and doing alot of dmg and not healing.

 

Cute... except this wasn't nightmare and he wasn't doing any fixing. I got fixed because I sat right next to him until he pulsed. You know honestly it's not like it's hard to tell a combat fixer from a healer.

 

I feel like since you are so insistent on calling him a selfish fixer that we should queue up a new term for true selfish fixers.
