Often a game is won or lost based on a teams ability to stay together and focus fire. It's difficult in the beginning to get people to follow you or gauge which direction forward to take, often times two players go towards the center while the other three go around the outside, usually because we have different weapons and look for different openings or cover. This is frustrating because often I will encounter an entire fleet while two team members are off on the other side of the map. You are left spamming Together! when it's already too late

Instead of the beginning 3 second matchup screen that shows the ships on each team, have a screen we can show our intended course to help gauge where people intend to go and give a quick game plan. It only has to be a few seconds so it will not cause delay

Interesting point. On one hand I'm skeptical that people actually want to play as a team. I mean seriously, how hard can it be to get 5 dots to the same place on the map (less speeders). On the other hand, anything which encourages people to think as a part of a team can't be a bad thing. It might be better to have a simple pre-match vote for the lead type thing. Maybe the vote -winner gets a "team lead" icon over their boat during the match.

While I'm not 100% sold on your idea, I like the concept of tools to promote teamwork.

Even if the map was simply shown like that on the splash page it would be a nice feature... that way everyone can see where the each member of the team will start and have a visualization of the map.

Honestly, it's not a bad idea, but a lot of the ambiguity of the "together" command could be fixed by telling everyone where to go by tapping the minimap.

    That would be super useful.

At the moment, the only place on the map you can suggest everyone go is to the capture zone, but that’s also confusing if people think you’re suggesting capturing as a strategy.

I remember a game I had on Chill Zone, where I saw on the loading screen that we were against 3 speeders.

I was the highest infamy player on our team (and the only speeder), so I immediately started spamming ‘capture’ ‘together’ because, obviously, we need to get down there fast in case the speeders rush it.

But of course, there is some d-bag shooter on my team, who starts hitting ‘negative’ and driving backwards.

I felt somewhat vindicated about 30 seconds later when the same guy started spamming ‘stop capture’, and I got to respond with ‘negative’. I did head down there anyway, but there was nothing I could do on my own, against three Tesla Bolts.

I wish that didn't sound like such a familiar situation.
