Players who join but never move, never fight?

I keep getting stuck in teams with a player that never moves. This basically puts our team at a 4-5 disadvantage it is impossible to win. Everyone gets killed and then they go hunt down the one immobile guy who is just sitting in his starting position. What the hell is the deal here? Isn't there any way to exit from a game like this without taking a reputation hit? Is there a way to put them on a filter list so you never play with them again?

 

It's simple thing They Have Network problem.

 

Nope, unfortunately we can not report afk players since battles dont give you their code. you can try to track ppl down thru their guild if they have one. Unfortunate if you get teamed up with one, but both sides have an equal chance of getting them, so chances are you will win a 5v4 battle too.

It's unfortunate and as I mentioned in a post similar to this...it happens. This is a mobile game. Not a console or pc game. Connection issues, life events, phone issues, etc...
They all affect people being afk.
It's happened to me before. It's unfortunate and you either deal with the problem at hand or accept defeat and move onto the next match. You can't control someone else so just make the best of the situation.
Wish I had better news but that's just part of the game.

 

If they had network problems, how did they join the game in the first place? Doesn't the app have any network check before the game starts?

 

Afk forgiveness for team or penalize it harder.

 

Yeah, they could have a position check and if the player doesn't move from the starting position by, say, 30seconds, the game is halted, or implement some penalty (or no reputation loss for losing team EXCEPT the floater).

 

I've joined a game and lost connection after the game starts. If you're connected to a network, that's the check. you've got to imagine that players are literally around the world connecting to 1 game, 1 server. Thing happen. A buddy I chat with a lot lives on an island in the middle of the pacific ocean. His whole country has 55k people living there.
Honestly, how many games is someone truly afk for the whole match? maybe 1-2 out of 100? Just rejoin another game and continue the battle.

Happens more than that unfortunatly. Easy fixes.

 

It happened a LOT this weekend, otherwise I wouldn't be complaining. I had quite a few, losing over 100 reputation points in one day just to this problem. It is frustrating to go into battle, get completely wiped out, and then the camera shifts to the POV of someone just floating there and has never moved.
